My favorite photography/teacher/content/creator videos! ..but also, would it be wrong to admit i come here mostly for your fashion?! I just LOVE your style!
Dear Laura, I love watching your videos and to follow your beautiful journey in Bali. The moody greens filter is sooo cool, I love also watching videos with these rich dark green colours. While watching this video I was wondering if you know a program with these cool features of luminar to edit videos as well? as far as I understood Luminar is only for stills right? ❤
Thank you so much for such a meaningful message! It makes me so happy to know that you enjoy my videos and you’re following my journey in Bali. 😍 So glad to know that you like the moody green tones as well. 🥰 Luminar is just for stills, correct. For video I use a professional editor called “Da Vinci Resolve”. But you have to colour grade manually or get some LUTS with that specific grading. I’m still in search of a good video editor for my phone to achieve those tones easily though. 😄 The ones I use now are CapCut and InShot. 🥰 Big hug and thank you for being here! ❤️
Laura, I was looking for an app like this - (I find lighroom to be a bit difficult to use) This app seems like the perfect solution for me! Thanks for sharing! :)
As a beginner in photo editing, I've been using Luminar Neo for a few months now (thanks to Laura's suggestion, and I used her link, so I hope she got something). It's really intuitive and easy to use to start with. The more I use it the more I work out how to use the more advanced tools. It does everything I could want without too much fidgeting around. I was weighing up getting Lightroom as well. Now that Adobe if holding their customers photos hostage unless they agree to new TOC, I'll be happily sticking to Luminar. I would just point out that its always better to first edit using the Develop Raw tool first (if you shot in Raw) because it's non-destructive editing that you can't use after applying other non-raw tools. Hi Laura any update about the course you mentioned you were working on a while back? Please upload more content, you are amazing! ❤❤
Wonderful video Laura. Purchased it 2-3 weeks ago. You should do a paid Luminar video tutorials. I would sign up for it. I have still not used it but this weekend will be using it 🙂
Amazing! 😍 You’ll enjoy so much editing with Luminar, the possibilities are endless! If you have any questions let me know. :) You’ve got the best discount right now because of the added summer sale. And thank you so much for being here and commenting, it makes me so happy to know that you enjoy my videos! Big love from Bali. ❤️
Laura your films are simply excellent. It is always worth waiting for another movie. You can pass your knowledge fantastic and you just do it charmingly. I always have a million ideas and inspiration after each meeting with you at YT. Huuuuuuge thanx :)
Awww THANK YOU! This is such a nice and meaningful comment. It means so much to me and it makes me soooo happy to know that you feel that way after my videos! 😍 Loads of love and thanks for being here! 🥰
I like this! I mostly do landscapes and have been using lightroom, and yes it's super easy to over edit, but now I'm starting to learn portrait photography
Hi Laura how are you? it's me Aditya 😁 so beautiful to see you after so long and happy to see you in good health and spirit makes me happy. Must say whenever you post an educational video it is just so special. You always come up with creative educational ideas to teach everyone and me something unique. Indeed there is always something new to learn from you. So happy to see you and looking forward to learn from you in person someday 😊. Cheers keep up the good work always and keep teaching us always 😊. Buddha bless you always ❤❤❤
Love this. Really hope Luminar eventually allows presets like yours from Luminar. I left Adobe after the subscription thing. Tried many app including Capture one and all the usual suspects. Luminar AI was good but Neo has taken it to a level truly allowable for photographers.
Laura, yo tengo el Luminar Neo. Y pague para el update. Pero no tiene todas esas areas para ir, o es que no lo sé usar? Voy a tratar de nuevo, porque después que lo pagué no lo he usado. Me estoy frustrando. 😒
Hey Laura , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
I still don't get it. Supposedly "professionaly" edited photos are better. But they always look washed out, lifeless and greenish or teal. As if these "moody" scenes look depressing. I prefer vivid colors and sharpness, of course not too exaggerated. I guess it's just me and I'll have to adjust to the "professional" look/style. Always good videos Laura. Thanks!
@@sandeeptanjore1253 Nothing to do with Luminar or Lightroom. The issue is with the "professional" look/style taking the life and happiness of photos for a more "moody" depressing approach.
It’s all about your own editing style. Where is the problem? 😅 If you like more vibrant, just edit more vibrant. How boring it would be if all photographers edit the same way! And normally, in editorial campaigns, the photos are edited with a matte finishing and less “vibrant” to adapt better to print media or to add copy. I LOVE it that way and I love moody colours. I personally don’t like over saturated photos. That doesn’t mean someone who does it that way is wrong. Everyone has their own style. There is nothing “to get” here. 😅

Hahah I knowww! I love coffee so much. But it didn’t make me feel good. It was hard but now I’m loving matcha. 🫠❤️
@@LauraBC Thank you for this video again! In addition to LrC I am now a Luminar fan! Using your discount :)
love this, though I do prefer photoshop. cheers
I use everything. 😂 Lightroom, Luminar and then Photoshop. In that particular order. 😄

Are you suggesting that Luminar is no good or not up to the mark?
It's all a personal preference. I also like vibrant.
