  • The investigation continues into a possible Eucharistic miracle in Connecticut. The Archdiocese of Hartford is looking into claims made by a priest in Thomaston, Connecticut. He says a Eucharistic minister reported running out of hosts before having the ciborium suddenly replenish late last month. Vice President of Theology for EWTN, Colin Donovan, joins to share what goes into an investigation of this nature and what kind of work the Archdiocese of Hartford is doing right now. Donovan explains how frequently there are reports of miracles and Eucharistic miracles in particular. He discusses what comes after the archdiocese is done with the investigation and at what point the Vatican may become involved. Donovan tells us whether the process of investigating a Eucharistic miracle that might have taken place recently is different than studying a miracle from decades ago as part of a sainthood cause.
