Thanks for the video. This is so beautiful and so educative. One of the most interesting things I've discovered about the brand PERRIS MONTE CARLO is that they are one of the most affordable fragrance houses in the NICHE category! The last time I encountered them in my local store in Northern Nigeria, they were selling at the equivalent of about $USD30-40! I like the bottle designs too. They are so gorgeous. I will definitely go get some as soon as possible. Thanks for the wonderful video, once again. 👍
Wonderful to hear from you @SCENTANITY, thank you for reaching out and jumping into this conversation. Yes, this brand really over deliver on their value on both longevity and complexity of their perfumes. And yes, their bottles are stunning; super eye catching...thanks again for reaching out👊🏽
Great to hear from you Paul and congratulations on your beautiful collection!! That's impressive that you own them all🧡 But to me this makes sense, they really are totally incredible and diverse to each other, that to own them all would be such a wonderful inclusion in anyones fragrance library. Thanks for reaching out, wonderful to hear from you Paul
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I just discovered this house, and bought, "santal pacifique". Wow, what a great scent, it's as good as my Tam Dao. And it smells different than the other 3 sandalwood perfumes I own Santal royal, Guerlain. Indian sandalwood Dunhill Tam Dao, diptiyque. All four smell different than each other, next one I'm gonna get is YSL 24 rue de l' universete.
Totally agree with you Casey. This House has an incredible collection and they really do fly under the radar....but hey, that's what I'm hoping to do here; shine a light on them a bit more. Thanks for reaching out Casey, great to hear from you👊🏽
I like how Alessandra used the analogy of the thin and heavy set person to describe why citrus smells don’t last in fragrances. It was funny, but it made very much sense to me. Thank you, Marcelo! 👊🏽
How clever is this explanation! I really loved it at the time too; makes perfect sense and you can actually visualise these molecules traveling and arriving at different times. Great to hear from you Juan; thanks for jumping into the conversation homie👊🏽

I’ve watched both of your follow-on videos with Carlos, and they are wonderful! Perris Monte Carlo must be a very special niche fragrance house. I have Bergamotto di Calabria and Ambre Gris, and now I want to try them all. Thank you for expounding on these fantastic fragrances!
@user-lm8sr8zn3p thank you Thomas what an awesome comment to read! So appreciative that you took the time to reach out🙏🏽 And yes, I have to agree, Perris Monte Carlo are an incredible fragrance house with a beautiful collection of unique perfumes♥️💫
Thank you Marcelo for another informative and well done segment. I haven't smelled anything from this brand, so now is the time to start! My favorite part was Alessandra explaining why citrus notes don't last as long as others. Very powerful stuff and rarely mentioned. Makes perfect sense on a molecular level. As always, you're doing top shelf work here bro. Your trip to Italy was classic.
It was pure genius from Alessandra; this explanation has resonated with a number of subscribers, it's perfectly visual....you can actually see this happening in your mind! And yes, I would strongly recommend anything from Perris Monte Carlo; you'll be impressed at the level of quality you're getting for the price you're paying. Always great to hear from homie👊🏽
I finally got my nose on much anticipated Ylang Ylang Nosy Be… dead on the floor…adore it. Patchouli will be next and D’oud ….wowza … have to get some more samples. Thank you Marcelo, albeit 20 years later 🙃… loved re watching this 🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺❤️🧡Stani
Begamotto di Calibria is absolutely fantastic i just wish for more longevity i do layer it with molecule 01 and do take a travel atomizer with me and reapply after about 4 hours.
Yep, totally agree with you Peter, this is a glorious fragrance. @sajalgoswami1217 the joy of the Perris Monte carlo range is that you can create hundreds of different combinations with their fragrances. Because the core note in the fragrance is designed to be a single expression. You can now combine this with anything from the range depending on your mood. Santal + Rose de Mai = a woody floral Santal + bergamotto di Calabria = summery woods Santal + patchouly nosy be = Woody winter magic And it goes on and on. The beauty is for you to do your own Discovery… Good luck Sajal💫
Difficult to be objective front of the owner. I would prefer your own ranking or review, especially of the black collection among which Cacao aztèque seems very interesting. Nice video anyway.
What you're saying is right. It is tough having the owners of the brand in the same room as the discussion. One rule that I have with all my videos is that I have to really love the fragrance's because I'm too expressive that I give myself away (not a good poker player). In the case of perfumes that we spoke about in this episode, I either own it or love it (and it's next in line to buy). We hand picked the ones that we spoke about. I have tried Cacao Azteque and I did enjoy it but I feel that I need to give it another go. My problem is that at the time I was comparing it to other cacao fragrances that I have in my collection that I love and this one didn't quite hit the same heights as those...but again I need to test again. I am planning to review the ones that I have in my collection and provide more of a break down on how they work for me. Thanks for reaching out Christophe, really appreciate your comment👊🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector The key to appreciate Cacao aztèque is maybe not to look for any chocolate flavor in it. Fresh cacao beans' smell is quite different.
