    this song has helped me when I struggled with anxiety a lot, it always helped me through panic attacks and general stress. I want to get the title tattooed with a semicolon to always remember that little bit of light

    I just learned from your performance at the Sydney Opera House (SOH) that you made this song for a bathtub commercial. It doesn't matter the inspiration or if you have played thousand of times, it is a beautiful song, keep playing it in different environments. The SOH performance was amazing. Takk for your music!

    Ever since the release of this song my father has always played it. I never thought much of it but going back and listening to this song has awakened memories I never new existed. This song has so much power in each note that it comforts me through the hardships in life. Truly a amazing song.

      It's amazing what the notes in music can create in the human soul. The fifth "unknown" element of relating without words or exchange...it just is. Choral and chamber music can also have the same [intentional] affect.

    watching the video, it's like the piano tones control one stream of colour, and the string control the other, and it's like the stream controlled by the piano is dying without the strings accompanying it, but when the strings kick in every thing goes nuts, and i know they are 2 orbs emitting colour, but i really get a sense of joy from seeing everything come to life in those moments..

    A friend showed me this back in 2009. I listened to it a few times but then forgot it. I couldn't for the life of me find it until last year, 2020, a co-worker put on a random playlist and I recognized it within the first couple notes. It was magical. Now it's saved in my YT watch later list

      Well, actially, this has been done before. You can even download the code en execute it for yourself. (my advise). It eunfolds it`s beauty, when the code is calculated in real time and your screen gives you the most of it, without any encoding related rediction on sound and video. (Go at least, for 1080 resolution anything else spoils so much of it. Execute it yourself, if your maschine can take it.)

      It's a special kind of sadness which isn't that sad.
      The sadness is caused by our (illusional?) feeling of beeing seperated from (our own) divinity.
      It's amongst the highest, purest songs I know of.
      So in the end it's not sad at all. It's unspeakable good piece of music.
