Quentin Tarantino joins forces with Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio to take audiences back in time to 1969 in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Great review. Personally I felt this was not long. I saw it twice in two days. Even the second time it felt like a 2 hour film.
Bill Lozier same here
Saw it. Loved it. Crowd was into it. Clapping and laughing. Great experience. Man. Going back tomorrow to see it again.
This movie was so fun and cool! Brad Pitt's best performance ever and one of Leo's best! Such an amazing ending and there's so much suspense. And it's Quentin's hangout, buddy comedy/bromance film! An instant classic!
bobby mariani well said. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
This movie is for hollywood movie lovers.
The movie of the year. A must-see.
Great non spoiler review, guys! Excited for this!
Huge Tarantino fan but did not care for his last outing with Hateful Eight. Glad to see he has not lost his way!
Boomstick Gaming I like hateful eight more than most people but trust me this film is better than it. I have this new one ranked #5 among Tarantino movies. The final 20 minutes is in the conversation for best tarantino scene of all time
The Hateful Eight is one of my favorites (I love its slow meandering pace and dialogue-driven plot personally but I guess those are matters of taste), but I can assure anyone this film is even stronger than that. This thing was one amazing scene after another. It also has so many Easter eggs (some are soooo meta) and it is just an entertaining mess of scenes and films-within-films and funny moments. The theater was filled with laughter.
Couldn't agree more.Didnt hate hateful eight but something about it didn't sit right with.me.But this movie is just great all the way around did not feel like a two plus hr movie I didn't want it to end.
Can’t get enough of Film Fury!
Awesome review guys!! 🍻
Best film of the year
2 minutes I gotta turn the video off and watch it later, this looks too good.
Haha! I just did that at the 3 minute mark
When that little girl said that's the best acting she's ever seen by Leonardo. She wasn't kidding. WOW
Have to wait till the 15th August of here before it’s released.
Hey it's that guy from the game review shows!
I’m so hyped since I saw the first trailer of this masterpiece of a movie. Who would I be without Quentin Tarantino’s movies, idk, but for sure I’m thankful for everything they turned me into. Thanks Quentin, much love from Germany 😎👌☀️
Cliff Booth
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood was a masterpiece. Nice review.
First! Great review! Old Holllywood, coming to play.
This is a truly great review of this movie. You both clearly state some of the flaws as well as it's strengths. My only disagreement is one many will have. Pitt was better than Leo. This battle of these two titans will be debated until the Oscars, IMO
When explaining this movie to someone, I tell them: "I will sum it up with three things: a pitbull, a can of dog food, and a flame-thrower. Now go see it!" I've seen it twice! Cant wait to own the DVD!
P.s. This was not only a love letter to the Hollywood of past, it was a love letter to dear sweet Sharon. My hat's off to Quentin for giving her the happy ending that should have been hers.
FINALLY!! Something new in the theaters that is worth the $30 cdn. to see it. Might actually take someone with me as well..
30 bucks to watch a film
@@arcadeutopia3035 canadian 😉 thats like 15 US DLR
half way thru the story, I started to think that every scene will be the killing of Sharon Tate... there were so much suspense till the end
Really want to see this. I loved Hateful 8 though myself. It is slow paced but the chemistry there was surreal.
It's even better in Once Upon A Time in Hollywood!
Saw it last night, really loved it.
Leo's best scene was the trailer melt down. I actually started crying during that moment. Amazing performances by all, but that really stood out as the best in the film. Oscar, please!
lol...women. I was laughing at that part. I'm pretty sure that was the point, too. His going on about drinking and then actually taking a swig from his flask. lol Crying...haha.
That dude even talks and is excited about movies in the same manner as Tarantino himself
It's a fun movie, but not a good movie. It doesn't flow as one movie, it feels like a bunch of episodes thrown together to make a movie. Tarantino's camera work is impressive, but he has lost his storytelling abilities a long time ago. His movies feel self-aware, like they know they're movies, it's sad to know he'll never make another serious movie like Jackie Brown, which still remains his most serious work to date.
Well, looks like we'll be seeing this movie title now....and also in February.
I walked out at the end and really needed to absorb my thoughts on this movie, I still do. That being said I was intrested from start to finish and wow what a finish it had! Brad Pitt was fantastic in thus movie and Leo was of course awesome!
You and Johnny should come to Oriental, or check out Milwaukee Oriental online. If you come though would be cool to see you two outside the theatre. It's a beautiful historic theatre. Which I'm looking forward to seeing this movie in
I loved this movie.
I think I expected more or something different? I don’t know. I think the pre release hype raised my expectations too high. It was just okay to me. Not much happening really like the other movies. The movie audience didn’t help either. Everybody was quite. Not a good combination.
Definitely familiarize yourself with the Sharon Tate murder before watching this movie. Otherwise the impact won't be as high. Other than that, great Slow Burn of a movie. And when it burns, it explodes! That ranch scene...the suspense!
Great review. Great film.
End of July already, 'bout time a good one comes up! Thank you sweet Jesus!
...I just wished they portrayed Lee better. Enter the Dragon, Lee dressed like Kato??..Bruce had much shorter hair in 1968.. other than that I enjoyed this film.
that was Bruce in the green hornet's time , for god sake Muhammad Ali was Cassius Clay
Three viewings later, and it's already one of my favourite movies.
Tarantino strikes again!👍🏼👍🏼
This is a movie that cannot be appreciated as much as by true Tarantino fans who have knowledge of his past work.
These 2 guys nailed the review.....they SAW the same movie that I saw.....
Interesting how Tarantino invoked Roman Polanski's actual child rape in several scenes of the film.
The Brad Pitt character kicks Bruce Lee's ass? Fuck that bullshit. That would never happen.
Excellent review cheers guys I am sold 👍
Good vid guys!
Mike Moh who plays Bruce Lee in this movie also played Ryu in the Street Fighter Assassin's Fist live action mini series
woah cool deal guys! big Tarantino fan I gotta see it!
I loooooovveeed it!
Let’s see it’s 1969, Sharon Tate a ranch and its set in Hollywood and its done by Quentin Tarantino. Sounds like a helter skelter of a movie. I need some popcorn and a Coke Zero( not an add, just addicted) and a ticket.
Great movie
Looks Amazing!
This video is a masterclass in perfectly reviewing a film and not spoiling anything about the plot. I've already seen the film 3 times. Great job, guys!
Agreed, total pros.
Johnny almost gave us spoilers.
ARGH Gotta wait til 15th August here in the UK.
LOL the foot shot at 2:50. Tarantino is such a fucking weirdo sometimes.
Tarantino is hit or miss, I loved Reservoir Dogs and especially Pulp Fiction, didn’t really like Jackie Brown, detested Django, this one looks really good though.
Not a bad movie
Gonna see it tomorrow in 35MM!
Chris V you lucky bastard
Stephanie R no screening near you?
Chris V not until the end of august
LOVE
This looks great. Can't wait to watch!
that deformed fuck is nothing lke bruce lee
Goodmovie
You two need to stop watching movies. According to you every movie is too long. You guys are a joke. Not the funny kind.
half way thru the story, I started to think that every scene will be the killing of Sharon Tate... there were so much suspense till the end
