Speaking on his social media standpoint, it’s crazy what people idolize nowadays such as “digital influencers”. We follow and are inspired by an artificial personality. Crazy.
CJ is just as real as it gets and down to earth. People who think that metal is just about violence and hate are dumb and gullible. They simply follow the norm and chase what's trending in the world. Some of the things that he speaks of here and lyrically in his music are similar to what is preached in churches around the globe everyday. Much respect to him there and am disappointed to have missed their show in Dallas which was cancelled during this covid19 pandemic but that is understandable and hope to see them in the future.
@@toyotaecw i get that there are different tastes and everbody has their preferences. I like phil and cj both equally and even had a lesson with cj once, but ben duerr is really on another level at this point. just give the band shadow of intent a listen and decide for yourself :)
x _ x I thought Dear Desolation succeeded in both experimentation and classic Thy Art brutality, however I thought Human Target had a lot of recycled riffs, boring songs and just middle-of-The-road album. Music is subjective, there’s no ‘bad’ music, it’s all opinionated.
@@yearnpill I agree the new album is boring he always says we're doing something different.... no your not it's the same fucking riffs from the last album just tweaked a bit and they say it's not deathcore either.... CJ also says in interview we make death metal riffs with breakdowns. That's literally the definition of deathcore.. smh even gabe from enterprise earth agrees with me when he have me a guitar lesson he said the same shit.. he loves them but it's the same fucking riff I wish they did more then that.
Alex Gross just off the top of my head I can recall that in the song Holy Wars he talks about the Torrah and what not and I am sure there are other older songs that touch on Jewish topics
@@xSCARRx Yeah the thing that was weird was the way that he framed what he said. He began the sentence by saying that they moved on from talking about antireligious things, and then said anti-Semitic. The reason it's weird, is because the antireligious things are opinions that he holds and the way that he structured the sentence made it seem like anti-Semitism was another opinion that he holds, which upon reflection, is obviously not what he intended. Must have been poor word choice

It really is sad to see Lee go. He was part of the band since the beginning if I'm not mistaken. All the best to him 🤘
do you know why he left tho? cuz i dont
@@romandasgupta7054 I would ASSUME personal reasons - AFAIK he wanted to get married and stuff, kinda like CJ before...
metal head they your more than any band so he needed some family time 😂
Cj’s vocals were fuckin awesome in this record, so nice to hear that he’s such a genuine down to earth guy, inspirational
He's like the fakest dude in the scene and people just eat it up, lmao. He's super full of himself
@@tcorectroll2120 fair enough, how come u think that? Better than parkway drive who have gone full steam punk rammstein rip off
Not the biggest TAIM fan, but CJ seems like a legit cool and down to earth guy.
He's basically a hippie

I definitely agree with him, haha
Keep the good health..
What album is he speaking of? Human Target? I'm new to TAIM
CJ top 2 deathcore vocalist, the other being Phil. Whose number one depends on the day.
toyotaecw dude i dig cj but have you heard ben duerr? lol
TheHolyKakaduChicken Just because he’s good doesn’t mean he’s on CJ or Phil’s level

Seen both of them, both are great.
TAIM CJ can't even touch Lorna Shore's CJ feet
When he spoke about the Czech porn guy, I felt that.
Love CJ ❤
Cj one of the greatest

Prosím ještě jednou Která deska slipknot je nejlepší. Kvůli novému alb7
He looks like Australian Tim Lambesis
Dear Desolation was leaps and bounds above Humam Target imo.
It's still good, but doesnt seem as melodic in some aspects

On The scene
snitch 🐭
@@yearnpill thank you
CJ McMahon with TAIM and Vincent Bennett with The Acacia Strain by far have the best screams in metal IMO
100 %
Randy Blythe
Coming from a big TAIM fan here but i gotta be honest and disagree with you, no theyre not at all actually. There are so many vocalists better🤷🏼♂️
Check out Ben Duerr or Will Ramos
Fucking CJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/
For next album a wish they back to The adversary sound
Koming Alvin Right! Probably wont happen though.
Anti-Semitic? What?

Same. I think it's just poor choice of words. I really hope they're not another cryptofascist metal band.
Yea probably poor word choice, I'm guessing he was thinking of "anti" words and that came to mind too
Anti-Semitic?? What..

Did he just admit to writing anti-semetic lyrics?
He meant anti-abrahamic. Big difference.
