On another note, I remember one of the WolfPack from the Stormchaser falling in battle and needing a replacement.
Perfect place to put him
Omg Trott's timer over the dun duns had me laughing harder than I should have. Too good
Here's the plan... and then we go to the Winchester for a pint until this whole thing blows over.
Hah yes
The best movie
1.52.40 TAKE NOTE. Monumental.
For the first time ever Tom actually rules lawyers in favour of his own party. Never thought I'd see the day.
Hopefully the first of many!
I prefer the term "rules attorney" thank you very much
Jkjk lol but really, as long as it's done right, is usually good to have somebody who knows most of the rules that the dm can refer to when they aren't sure, or somebody to step in to say, hey you can use this thing or you have that thing that does this. It's stressful to have to remember everything for you players, since not every player can remember everything about their own stuff, so it's good to have somebody in the party that knows generally what everyone else is capable of when they need a reminder.

I apologize for not doing this sooner. I was busy when it went live and then kept putting it off.
Thank you!
Thank you
I'm just now catching up on this campaign, all your timestamps are still very much appreciated!
@@BaronOfHeid i'm catching up too.
Dm: chance of facing a high level demon king who can kill you when he gets close,
Party: let’s just go with it and roll with the punches
The cow fight was still the best moment of the campaign
There is no cow level
I was actually crying. So good.
Take the flames of the elves. Moooooo! ( Death Moos)
Everyone: "We have the perfect plan!"
Everyone doing the plan: "Oh shit"
Nova is just being an absolute horndog throughout the entire campaign
all hail the disaster bi Genasi
@@Mila_BK all hai;
Damn it Mark... Trott clearly stated his held action was to go off when they were *both* in view so no his reaction would not have gone off when one of them moved.
Love the new overlay! Hope the escape goes well!
Love Trott's sponsor bits. 😂
Yes especially this one so far as I've seen
I don't know if they read this but, hey there Mark this is like Planescape upgraded to 5E, Love it!
There are 4 rules
Make the plan
Execute the plan
Expect the plan to go off the rails
Throw away the plan
The plan only goes off the rails if there are a significant number of dice rolls. Limit the dice rolls and you can better control the success of the plan.
I was so choaking on my food when the dunduns began xD
My first time I'm able to watch live! Huge fan. Bringing me very happy memories of when my son was young and DMing his D&D group and let me sit in!
From Castle Rock, Colorado!
Thank you so much for your support! It's awesome to hear about your son's adventures
Kim: That's Ruff
Me: Dies
I might just be blind but every time I look at Mark I have to do a double take cuz EVERY SINGLE TIME the rim of his glasses looks like he has nothing on and just has a shiny face of makeup. Now that I’m writing this I’m realizing it sounds just insane but that’s what I see 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
As of this episode (80) multiplied by the amount of hours they are roughly (3) you would have 240 hours of unbelievable incredible content which amount to 10 days! roughly 10 whole days of watching this wonderful band of players and characters move from their initial crash on Aerois to this moment right here!
more than double if you include campaign 1 (that was over 80 eps)
Oh Jesus I didnt realize that there's so many hours the I've sat down and watched thats awsome
Yeah, two campaigns of High Rollers and two campaigns of Critical Role (plus a smattering of Oxventures) equals no need for Netflix. :-D
Man I love these guys and their antics
I've been waiting for this episode for so long so happy now:D
Episode starts 9:32
Break end at 1:31:34
I'm loving the Ailore
Everyone seemed so excited this episode. I'm surprised how long that plan held up.
Lucius said he would cast the spell when he saw both creatures so the spell should not go off until the conditions are met which would have been when both creatures were visible.
Totally agree. 3 mins previous Mark had even specified about the spell not going off until the specific triggering action occurred. Really needs to carefully read the held action rules.
Also while you are concentrating on it the spell does not count as cast until the triggering action is complete. This means if you fail a conc check you lose the held action but not the spell slot, so he should have been able to cancel the twin anyways.
@@Killerwolf3241 following this thread, because I wanna know if that's true or not
@@ducttapemaster1408 it is, otherwise the spell could technically be countersepelled before he even cast it, which would be pretty shitty.
I'm actually completely wrong, as per the PHB if you ready a spell it is cast then and there and you hold it and use your reaction to make the attack when the trigger occurs. Pretty crappy if you ask me and every DM I've played with has ruled differently but Mark actually had it right
‘Is this the Theater?’ Artagan is that you? (CR season 1 reference)

thx xoxo
Thank you much obliged.
I like this. Ima find your comment each ep. Thx
This stream was great. Full of role play and some action. Trott, Tom, Rhianan, Mark, Kim and Katy. (in alphabetical order) Keep up the good work! I am sure you will get more subscriptions. Takes time to get a proper following.
* pushes glasses up to the bridge of my nose with my middle and ring fingers *
Actually that is, uh, reverse alphabetical order so, uh, yeah.
A heist eh? If only they could contact a certain water themed serpent. An…AQUA MAMBA!
You guys are only one level behind Critical Role.
. . .
Team Deathmatch!
Wouldn’t be much of a fight after all CR has a cleric that heals lol I kid but the whole match would boil down to if they can stop sentry fast enough cause she’s the main risk.
Healing aside crit roll has a scary party. I don't see how the HR would deal with them even if they had the same amount of people.
Beau vs Sentry - 50/50
Yasha vs Aila - 40/60
Caleb vs Lucius - 60/40
Jester vs Nova - 60/40
Caducious vs Quillek 50/50
Chris Stewart here’s the thing (as long as we know it’s a theory and opinion because I love both) I think HR has a good chance to take on M9
One thing is M9 tactics arent set up for to fight them. They use a two line strat with Beau and Yasha keeping the enemy busy while the rest CC and nuke.
Issue is HR is highly mobile and has a massive tank advantage. They not only have a barbarian but a true high AC tank that halves all magic damage. Oh and their warlock can actually fight front line as her stats beat ford hands down
But mobility is the key. All HR would have to do is move Alia to take up the front line while Sentry and Nova teleport to the rear. On top of that sentry magic resistance would hurt the normal nuke open move from Caleb. Now you have the squishy clerics and mage against the beast that is sentry.
Beau and Yasha would probably panic and try to make it back to save them.
Still it’s highly up in the air who would win and it would come down to dice roles I’m sure. Btw so something I’d want to watch.
Btw I assume no nott unless we add in a buffed up certain orc captain.
@@reedk2402 I agree the fight could go either way and would be down to dice rolls. I was purely basing my matchups on % of who would probably win 1v1 fights. Both casts are absolute madlads so I cannot possibly predict what they would do in a 5v5 and yes I'm letting veth and fjord sit this one out because rouge and numbers. As for the possibility of nova and sentry teleporting to the back line to fight the clerics and Caleb. Im not sure they would because that gives beau free range on quill and lucius and I don't think sentry would do that. Aila and yasha would just be a slugfest. Giving the advantage to aila because hammer and lighting dmg. Caleb has the chance to 1 shot lucius if he chooses. All in all it would be down to positioning and who acts first. Yes hr has more mobility but I feel m9 has more burst. Would be amazing to watch for sure.
@@reedk2402 I would like to disagree with you entirely, especially on the mobility thing. You're forgetting so many things about M9...
Nova can teleport and take one person with her vs Jester *and* Fjord who can both teleport and take people with them. On top of that if you're scenario were to come to pass and Sentry got into combat with Caleb, Fjord could teleport him out of there and do damage at the same time (which Sentry would half because of aura).
Beau is faster then Aila by a long long way, and Yasha isn't far behind. Combined with having more teleporters means the M9 beat HR crew hands down when it comes to mobility. And that's not even taking into account Caleb and Veth being able to dash as a bonus action (Caleb through spell). Sorry, but in a contest of mobility HR crew have zero chance against M9. M9's only drawback when it comes to mobility is that they have more people, though in a contest I'd assume they'd use even numbers.
Tank advantage? Errr... no. Sentry's AC is beaten by Beau's AC and on top of that Beau can give disadvantage to all attacks against her if she chooses. Sentry wins on raw damage due to smiting, but Beau has Stuns which completely shut down the opponent. Aila beats Yasha on AC, Yasha beats Aila on HP (level advantage... this could be even). I'd give that one to Aila barely... until Yasha gains two more levels at which point she becomes literally unkillable. But that's the future.
As for panicking, HR crew are a million times more likely to panic then M9. They panic the moment anyone is in even the slightest bit of danger. Beau and Yasha have on numerous occasions kept their cool while someone like Caleb is in trouble and trusted him to let them know if he needs them. So I find you're theory that they would panic to completely unfounded, and frankly more applicable to Aila and Sentry.
At the end of the day it's all theory and dice rolls and anything could happen, I just wanted to throw my hat into the theory ring on this one.
Edit: Oh... Also Sentry's Aura is only effective if people are right next to her... in prime fireball formation. Relying on it would be a big negative for HR crew.
I hope for Siaska sake, they got out safely. this tension is unhealthy for me.
why does mark look like a tiktoker who accidentally drank an aging potion
2:26:55 - "Copy that, the fly is down. Repeat, your fly is down."
Great episode. Kim's rant at 2:15... Not sure how many times Mark pushed the party last episode and this one to stay all together! Surprised then to hear Kim complaining about making decisions alone 😂
Anyway, they're a great bunch of players who it's good to see still making daft decisions.
1. The Old man turns off the tractor beam. 2. Draw off the guards. 3. Board the Falcon and escape to Yavin (Aerois)
You guys have all done an amazing job with the remote game! Stay safe and thank you for your hard work and sharing an awesome game with all of us
Wait, what? You only have 80 000 subs on here? That's illegal!
2:41:15 In the words of a Siltheen from Series 1 of New Dr Who "For goodness sake, get some perspective, woman!"
Trotts slightly reddened background makes it look like he’s being corrupted by hadar
So if Astral Space is Astral Space, what is "planetary space" within the atmosphere? Prime Space? Material Space? Can the Longbow enter that space? So many questions!!
I think it’s all astral space. Like the planets are planes that you either use a planar spell to get to or you can fly to. When you leave the “planet” you are actually leaving that plane to go to astral space and then can go to any other plane.
As far as the area right out side the planet it may still be part of that plane as it bleeds into the “astral plane” that connects all other planes to make some sort of fluid border.
@@reedk2402 The border between planets and astral space is exactly the same as the border between Earth and Space. With Aerois, there is a big magical barrier between astral space and the planet itself, but similarly to how a space shuttle leaves the atmosphere on Earth, a space ship leaving any planet into Astral Space functions much the same.
They had a special trip into the River Styx, which is an alternate dimension, but from their experience on the derelict Starbane ship, it's pretty clear that Astral Space is very similar to regular space, except perhaps that there's breathable air in Astral Space
I normally skip the beginning and break but this time those were even funnier than the episode itself, I loved the timers and Trott being so happy when his jokes land perfectly xD
all hail tom hazell
Tbh I feel like Mark has a pretty ridiculous amount of enemies with resistance to both acid and cold. Like he's effectively got lucius on a planet that negates his subclass entirely
It also negates his already very situational magic item
Dude these are demons. They're resistant to everything
Those are demons for you, but be dair Luscious does have an elemental adept feat.
It’s just where they are. Had they dropped into the fire plane (say they took up the plan to get signets from there) he would be pretty op. Also he does ignore acid resistance.
In terms of stealth... we have no stealth
1:02:54 - My soul is dyeing with every minute that passes.... Do any of these guys have any strategic knowledge? GAH!!
You are a thoughtful DM, to tell the party they will get face rolled if they mess up.
DM: hinting for the party to STOP splitting up
IRON SLOTHS: it fine, well be fine
8:36 is the important bit
I don't know why a one minute countdown timer makes me laugh, but it does.
Gosh diggity dang I WANT MORE. It wasn't long enough 😢
I dont want the wacky adventures of the wacky sloths to ever end. They are like friends. So much for them to do yet
Happy you're back
Nova: Grrrr
The least intimidating thing ever.
I SEE A SHIP RISING
I need a compilation of Chris Trotts advertisements
Friendly reminder that Bumblebee fought in WW2
Slowly but surely catching up. Can't remember when I started lol.

Well done-ing! Another Markism to add to the book
We need a compilation!
Freaaaakkkkkinnnngggg cliff hangers!!!!
Poor trott, wasting sorcerer points and spellslots against a really hard to kill dog
2:15:30 see Mark, this is what happens when you force a bisexual to make a decision
Not to rules lawyer too much. But levitate is a concentration spell as well as invisibility.
wonder if mark reworked the fire barbarian, because there aren't saving throws for that one
Want to skip to the next ep to know they’re ok so I can carry on watching this- ah the anxiety
I thought dimension door was the way out. ..

What if Valla and Aila might be their to the higher planes where the old Gods went by they’re connected to Gods beyond the veil, ie The Thunder Lord and Ciasca (spelling idk)
So...they switched from Genasi to Genas for a reason, or did mark get the species confused with the plane-t?
Is it weird that Sentry's faceplate kind of looks like Tom?
God I love this DND series
But what if the tethers are magical
Dispel magic. Hell magical ones would be easier to get rid off.
