The panel where the glove box would normally be is the optional resistive heater to heat your legs during winter. It's way WAY better on range to run during the winter instead of the cabin heat/AC. It's not activated through a separate button - it's linked to the seat heaters. Unfortunately because of the inclusion of this option on the cold weather package Limited, no BZ4X has a glove box. However there's a removable tray in the center console to get some of that storage space back. 27:47 Dude! There's a tray in the armrest! Pull it out and it goes damn near to the floor :)
I can't wait for mine! It got built last Wednesday. FWD Limited in Heavy Metal gray. I got a really good deal, I estimate $6k/year in savings between gas and lease price compared to my Grand Highlander I sold. Also I have NO car until it shows, just a motorcycle. So my commutes to work in NC are going to get a LOT warmer with those radiant heaters! The charging network has gotten a LOT better. My local energy company helped reimburse a home charging plug, and the car comes with a decent level 2 charging cable already so no need to buy a home charger. This will be my first EV and I'm a habitual Prius / Toyota Hybrid driver so I prefer some of the design choices (the high mounted dash / low steering wheel, the blended braking, the creep-forward etc)
The bz4x and the subaru soltera are the only suv with a certain off-road capability.I have seen Finnish videos that had it all. there you drove the toyota.Here in Germany or even in Europe, the black feces wings are not painted, but are made of unpainted rather robust plastic.
Also remember, in any Prius and this also applies to the BZ4X: The steering wheel is designed to be low, basically in your lap, and relaxed. You're meant to look over the wheel at the gauge cluster to replicate a HUD. The relaxed wheel position is meant to make you chill out and drive in a more economical manner - and it's also really easy to drive that way. Takes about 3-4 days to get used to.
The bZ4X is exactly what the electric car market needs. It is stylish, practical, and offers everything you want in an EV.

The sleek design of the 2024 bZ4X Limited AWD makes it a standout in the EV market. Toyota is definitely bringing its A-game here.
