@@mrbeefy1101 i understand that, but if people don’t abide by the restrictions then Covid cases are going to continually increase and harm the economy even more. Small business owners have been forced into a terrible position, and my heart goes out to them, but it isn’t JUST the fault of “democratic favorites.” New Zealand shut down businesses for a few weeks, restricted travel, and is now Covid free. As we’re not an island, we probably wouldn’t be as successful as them, but we might not be leading the world in our percentage of Covid cases. The fault lies on politicians (regardless of party), but it also lies on the people who refuse to make a few sacrifices (like eating outside) to save lives and businesses.

I think the restrictions are important for health and safety, and though I disagree with protesters I understand where they are coming from. But this bit just makes me mad at SNL.
Agreed. I'm someone who understands why the restrictions have been set in place no matter how annoying and inconvenient they may be but the actual lockdowns I don't understand. Not anymore. I did at a point when the pandemic first started but now I've seen the turmoil that it has left in its tracks. They're being globally advised against for a reason but they're still being enforced even though they don't really work. Now we have these spoiled celebrities telling the working class to shut up and submit even though their livelihoods are being ripped from them.
Gee, I wish I could get $15k per episode to jeer at and mock people who are fighting to keep from losing their livelihoods. Guess I just need to start making celebrity vibrators.🤷♂️

Leftists (which are not liberals- everyone right of a leftist is a fascist, of course..) are two-faced by nature. They don't care - as long as they get their "rights", other people can deal without.
Those people have every right to protest. And I find it horrid that several politicians told people not to travel and one of the CA politicians goes to Meixico, do as I say, not as a I do. Going out to eat and then they apologize to the public. SNL can't make this funny. That Cuoma governor, what a sad thing, did he not know that there was a ship and a couple wings for elders with Covid so they didn't have to moved into existing long care facilities, those with diseases quickly gave Covid to to others and then Cuomo writes a book about how great he did with this problems in his state, in order to deflect from what actually happened and the media who most of the time protects the Sickening media chooses not to say a word about him. People moving out of NYC by the droves.
Yeah I like him too, Just something about an employed millionair celebrity mocking people like me who have lost our jobs and savings, all while in front of a LIVE audience.
