The Stellar Storm - DevLog #7 - Reimagining

I've been trying to make an indie game for around 3 years now. Aside from what was shown here in my UA-cam channel, many things were showcased on my Twitter page ( / ebpedrovg ) and the Discord server for Electro Block ( dc.railgun.wor... ) and didn't get very far, despite multiple hours of work being spent in them.
After all these multiple experiments, cancelled projects and discussions with Casanova and Luan, this is the project that has been the most successful. Taking the best things that worked in these past projects and with a heavy inspiration in Half Life, here is the return of Stellar Storm. Do keep in mind this started around a month ago and most assets are placeholder.
In other news, our project Sonic Network World has returned, now being co-led by WizToad, the guy behind Sonic An Untold Dystopia, a fangame that was available in SAGE 2019 and recently got cancelled.
Huge props to everyone at Electro Block and Sonic Tribute Team, specially Wiztoad, Kast, MrLevRocks for giving feedback and supporting the project.

This actually looks pretty impressive! I like the main gimmick. The tilesets and environment could use a little bit more variety in terms of decorations. Like, you could add some vegetation, some decaying bricks, cages, etc, and maybe some more sound effects too.

Also, yeah, I definetly agree with you, since as of now the tileset is just a basic 16 x 16 tile repeated over and over again without any variation; didn't quite think of much to add in it to change things up yet. As for the sound effects, they are all just placeholder, I couldn't find sounds for most of them since I just added what was in the Half Life sounds folder lol
