Xiahou Dun was the coolest in this game. xD He always reminded me of Solid Snake back then, so I always played as Xiahou Dun with a friend. DW was one of the first and most fun co-op games on the PS2.
All people who came here to watch (especially listen) this video and the others about Dynasty Warriors series make part of a minor community. We all played once a DW and honestly who doesn't agree to say that soundtracks can make a game. For myself, I played at the 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and those I most appreciated were DW 2 and DW 3 simply because the soundtracks were magical. So memories and nostalgia when I'm listening to it. Just enjoy !

I've played DW 2 when i visited my uncle. And i was blown away with that insane Game. When i got older i bought myself a copy of DW 4, literally 3 Weeks before i even was able to buy a PS2 xD. That alone says much about this games. I've played DW2, DW4, DW4XL, DW5, DW5E, DW6,, DW6E, DW8XLC and i can't wait to play DW9 as well :D

Very good point. Both the willing to remove a corrupted dynasty for a better one or to try to restaurate the order and improve the existent being loyal were quite reasonable options.

HAHA! I played a demo of DW2 on PS2 in the yellow turban level and had to buy it.. Nice tunes and beating the hell out of tons of enemies.. Unforgettable moment.. Exactly what the PS1 couldnt do..
Yes, same for me! The voice acting (in english) cracks me up all the time. I rarely played it in japanese, because it added to the joy of this game (in a fucked up way). :P

@@garymoore3453 he didn’t crush units on his own. Nobody really did that except a select few (Cao Ren and Zhang Liao come to mind). Historically he was nowhere near as strong as in fiction. Sun Jian, Sun Ce, Wei Yan, Cao Ren, Dian Wei, Xu Chu, or Zhang Liao would all defeat him readily I’d even say. As a bodyguard though I’d say he would be pretty good. He was still decently tough. Hell, historically Sun Jian fought a battle against both Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu at the tombs of the Han emperors and defeated both of them. While outnumbered.
Yeah it's really a shame they couldn't get some good voice acting to go along with the music in the level. Especially since the voice acting for the level in DW2 wasn't so bad.
The lines in DW3 were hilarious and were poor/low quality ones (Not all of them), but in all honesty, DW3 was the best DW ever, imo. I like the news ones too, but they are way too easy now...Like DW7, only Generals can actually do something...and ofc the archers.
