    I feel like I should clarify a few things. At the bottom of this comment is a TL:DW of the video.
    At 4:30, I actually increased the rake, but I counter-acted the increase in rake by increasing the rear wing angle. I forgot to mention it in the video but hopefully this clarifies that. At 5:37, we eventually go back on the changes, and lower the rake and push the aero-balance rearwards.
    A Quick TL;DR of the video.
    1) Feel out the setup. Adjust tire pressures accordingly.
    2) Aero and rake (ride height) play huge part. Try to find that balance first.
    3) Once ideal aero balance is found, start making adjustments to suspension settings.
    4) Try to make one change at a time, it will help you figure out what the setup changes do to the car.

    Excellent info thanks. New to this and wondering why I don't get front and rear wing in aero? All I see is gap settings and downforce level. Cheers.

      It could be because of the optional physics that comes with the mod. If you have the physics mod (the one that adds porpoising), then I think it changes the aero parameters.

      @@ntst22 Thanks its working. I had to remove the car and drag and drop install instead of manual. Looks like I might need a new excuse for being slow.

    And downforce option in FH22 v3?

    • @ntst22
      @ntst22  Рік тому

      If you're looking for more variable downforce settings, try using the normal physics. I believe that the custom physics (the one that adds porpoising), can restrict the aero settings.

    Can't wait for FH23, also I'm worried about how legit some of the times are nowadays.

      @ntst22  Рік тому

      Yeah. Really hard to verify what times are legit and what times aren't.
      I'm tempted to move away from doing hotlaps, and determining how good a setup is based on laptime. Though I want to gauge what kind of reaction you guys would have to my proposal.

      why? what makes you doubt they arent legitimate laps anymore?

    About the AC steering wheel setting, when will the video come out? Thanks!

      Hi! I'm not sure I understood your question. If it's a part of a video, drop a timestamp, and I can try to clarify. If it's about the next video in the series, I'm looking to get it released in the next week or two.

      @@yangrui1116 Hi, to start, we may have to install software for your wheel. I believe that most, if not all wheels have software that you need to install to get full functionality (Thrustmaster, Fanatec, Logitech, Simucube, etc). Install the software and setup your wheel in the software first before trying to set it up through Content Manager.
      To setup your wheel, we'll start by binding your steering and pedals.
      Go to Settings > Assetto Corsa > Controls > Axis.
      To bind the steering, click on "Click to Assign", then turn your wheel from left to right. It should bind your steering wheel. To bind your pedals, do the same with your pedals, only pressing them down (throttle, brakes, and clutch [if you have one]). With buttons, it's pretty self-explanatory - obviously we have the up and down-shift buttons, of which should bind to your paddles (again, if you have them).
      Force feedback is subjective, there are some presets you can look up online. Most of the wheels out there have been out for a while, and have good support in AC. You can look up those videos by searching "[Wheel Name] Assetto Corsa", of which should show videos of people's setup of the wheel in the game. For example, I have a Simucube 2P, which has around 25Nm of force. Obviously I'm not going to use all of it, so I just copy other peoples settings, and refine it from there.
      Wish you the best of luck!
