I just installed AND removed a set of Hellwig helper springs on my 2019 F150. The outer U bolts were so long that even when I brought the nuts to the very end of the threaded portion, the U bolts still rattled around and the gap between the Hellwig spring and the OE spring was 1.5 inches even though the instructions said that it would be closer to .25 of an inch if adjusted to full spring rate. Here is where it got interesting, I called Hellwig's 1-800 number to speak to tech support, and they answered right away but was told that Kevin (the only tech support person working for Hellwig) was at lunch so I could call back in an hour or leave a message for him and he would call me back. I left him a message, 90 minutes later I called again and was once again told that Kevin was at lunch and for me to call back in an hour or leave him a message. Huh? How long are Kevin's lunches? BTW this is being written 8 hours since I left him a message and I am still waiting for him to return my call. I think I will return the Hellwig Springs and try the Timbren or Summo's.

I didn't know you had two channels. I just saw your other video on Sumosprings and add-a-leaf

I just put the Timbrens on so don’t have much info with them but the springs seemed to ride fine. Never had weight out of the truck though so not sure how they rode without weight. Plus I’m normally on back roads so it’s always bumpy.

Ive run Timbrens for years. The bounce is cut back by 60% if properly installed with correct gap, but they offer no sway control. I put a set of Hellwigs to be installed with my Timbrens and that helped bounce alot as a combo. As for sway It did help a little more, not much to brag about, but if you have sway issues only a distribution hitch with sway control will do it. If you combine everything you will have one hell of a ride when towing.
