I wasn't born in the UK but I'm proud of my British heritage from my mother and that I've lived a huge part in it. I love the US and other countries, but the natural beauty and culture of Britain is something truly worth going all out to protect.
@MarkMahoney It's also the culture and the people. The vast quantity of talent (like yourself😃). For such a relatively small island nation, it's impact on the world has been/is legion. Of course it has negative aspects, but the positives more than offset the bad. Maybe my rose-tinted spectacles need wiping lol. My rant over😔
Beautiful fields of lavender. I can remember my Gran buying Yardley lavender perfume when I was little. I'm not sure if it's around anymore. Lavender also always reminds me of the folk song and nursery rhyme ' Lavender's Blue Dilly Dilly' ... 🙂👍🏻👍🏻
Yardley’s Lavender is still going strong. I think it’s beautiful and the soap and talc is my absolute favourite.I believe it’s still made in England.Available everywhere, a lot of it is exported. It’s highly regarded worldwide.
What a gentle soul you are Mark, I live in the U.S near a lavender farm and you pick up on this beauty so well .Take care pal and keep up the good and important work .
Man, it's so great to know there are people who still appreciate the real world. I bet you hate CGI, wokeness, the whole shaboodle. Taking the time to make this, and knowing that people nowadays don't even notice the existence of Nature, is so cool. THIS is rock and roll, it's everything. If only art would remember what it was, maybe films themselves would become great again. Keep it up, mate, you're singing the song for us all.
Pity people who voted for Brexit didn’t see this film and narration. And for all of you getting ready to say, ‘this has nothing to do with politics”! Grow up. Everything is political, in the end.
@@MarkMahoney Yeah, Mark keep it up mate. I showed one of your documentaries to a friend of mine: Dad was a Docker, Mum our primary school dinner lady and she had tears in her eyes. She’s a High Court Judge now; your narration and choice of descriptors brought back strange memories for both of us: look forward to other work from you.
We live in such a stunningly beautiful country. Thank you for sharing this.
Welcome :)

You knocked it out of the park again Mark.

Wonderful
Makes my little patch of lavender look a bit sad, but at least it survived the 40⁰ blast of heat. The dog seems to like the scent, too.
Very nice indeed. 🌻
