Harper is basically doing to Ally what Ally did to Lexi Sun two years ago. Survival of the Fittest.
Roddy brings the shovel and Jackson brings the hammer! That being said, Murray is an assault rifle w extended clip, and Krause a shotgun. This team has all the tools and are looking more dangerous each match. Can't wait for Stanford
Man, I used to favor Batenhorst over Krause for the other left-side hitting spot, but Krause is really impressing. I can see that, as coach Cook said, she's been working really hard in all aspects of the game (including the weight-room). Now, is she as good as Skinner of Texas? Or many other dynamic/explosive outside hitters around the league? Probably not, but has really narrowed the gap.
Beason should wear her pony tail free more often, WOW. These girls meant business tonight, they were absolutely dominant, so good!!!
Their middle back defense is lacking this season. You gotta miss kubik and knuckles... Murray and choboy still far from that
This team is GOOD. More consistency and weapons This year by far. They hit harder than last years team. They have that edge this year with these freshmen
Creighton was targeting Rodriguez on serve receive, her passing has been off.
Stanford vs Nebraska
Love Ally but Kruase is just more consistent and an amazing blocker. Andi is an amazing offensive and defensive middle. Merritt is a really strong blocker and defensive player who can crush it in the backrow. And Lexi has been anchoring down serve receive. Really excited to see this young team go up against Stanford!
To all the fans who were ragging on Merritt for hitting into blocks early in the season, how do you like her now? What a great pick up out of the portal!
sorry but shes been doing good but she hits more into the block than anyone else unfortunately
she did have a good 17 kills but the 9 erros shows that shes still getting blocked alot
If Harper doesn’t get player of the year besides maybe Sarah Franklin something is wrong. Production from a freshman this good. Wow made me watch vball again.

That is absolutely not true. They lost the set for multiples reasons and Maggie being in was absolutely not one of them. She played perfectly fine for being thrown in out of no where. She did not get one single set in the 3rd so Idek why you would even try to put the blame on her. Learn the game of volleyball before commenting these types of comments.🤮
If you mean Maggie had something to do with the letdown in play, you would be wrong. If you mean that putting Maggie in with so much of the game left to be played sent a signal to the team as a whole that they could go into cruise control mode, which Creighton made them pay for, then I could see that argument. The issues were poor passing, poor digging, and a lot of slop, which reduced Husker's offense to the pins and mostly to the left pin at that, eliminating the middle as a weapon. Hitters also took a lot off their attacks, often hitting into the block or just tipping the ball over.
I like using the whole bench when the bench is so talented as the Huskers are, but the Coaching and leadership have to stress that the level of play can not drop. The ladies like seeing their teammates succeed so they will respond to that, but it has to be a challenge to them.
