I've had mine since '93. once you get the brakes worked out, it's great. Get the carb cleaned out, that thing will go places the big dogs won't go if you ride it like a dirtbike. Adjust the auto-clutch. I've had mine clocked near 60mph with slightly larger mud dawgs on it. and yes, you have to pop wheelies, but it'll float in areas the bigger one's will just sink. Actually got offers from a ton of friends over the years. Put a bigger carb, keep the oil filled with premium stuff, and you'll blow the doors off of others on gravel...

THIS is the quad that got me into the sport 25 years ago. I’ll have a mint one someday for my living room and to run up and down the driveway. Thank you for this series; it’s brought back many amazing memories.

Wow, I remember visiting a local Suzuki dealer in 1985 to see these amazing new Quadrunners. Didn't get to purchase a quad until 2001 which was a Yamaha Beartracker. Had more fun on that machine than anyone deserves to!! Hail to the old machines!

The old quads are great and a lot of fun. Having to move around on them teaches you to be a better rider too. Finding one with half decent plastic is key because even if there is aftermarket available it gets expensive. Great fun to be had for cheap otherwise.

Looks like a blast. It sounds great. I should’ve been on that when I tried my last wheelie. My last wheelie was on a 700 grizzly and it immediately turned from wheelie to tilt-a-whirl. Wasn’t pretty. Lol. Great little 185 ya got there. Keep the great videos coming. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
