This is one of the better thought out FPH 60's, if I'm not mistaken the renamed "Encore" from Adventures of a Lifetime UA-cam channel. Was a little disappointed when they gave up sea life, there was so much more cruising left to do.

@@11THEFEZMAN11 I think realizing he was getting old enough that managing it all was getting to be too much. I loved their Nordhaven series and the story with it. And, the kids couldn't really sail around indefinitely helping him. I watched some of their later adventures in the RV, but I enjoyed the boating part a ton.
The boat was the dads and mothers dream, unfortunately she passed away so the adventure on Encore was just that an encore. I to was disappointed by the sale of her but it’s understandable. The dad did a good job of making some design changes.
@@festerofest4374 when they hauled out for repairs I had a feeling that he was getting ready to sell. I don’t blame him that’s a large boat

My wife and I met the new owner at the Annapolis show. Very nice guy. The 60 is just incredible. Videos don't do justice.
Someday…this is my ultimate dream boat. Sigh. ❤

This is one of the better layouts but I still would have the bunks instead of the pantry. Everything else is perfect. I remember this boat when it was named encore. Great boat

Which I renamed," Grundy's Girls ".

This boat sounds like Encore it was built by an retired Ohio business man and its exactly the same but he sold it to someone in Florida after only owning it for a couple of years he was the first one to have the underside of the flybridge roof painted the light gray

Very impressive
Less accommodation than I would expect on a 60’, and I’m not a big fan of that size of boat without twin main engines. all very well having a wing engine but there are situations against the weather where you simply aren’t going to make headway. I like the treatment to the wheelhouse windows -gives them a better, more modern look. I hadn’t realised until reading other comments that it was Encore previously.

What kind of noise level db do you get on the flybridge underway with the dry stack exhaust ? Reviews only seem to quote internal db readings.

I added a swim platform to the one that was already on the boat can u are know a way to add a
swim rise and fall platform to the one u have now
1. my buddy built mine custom
it slides under my platform 4 feet
then comes out under then drops down 18 inches in water .... it helps a ton to get in after a dive but better yet to land a fish it helps also and the ladies love it to swim with

I would make the shower stalls of granite panels vs fiberglass. I would pay for it by decreasing some wood around the interior but just a bit. Norhavn interiors totally outclass other boats.
Wonderful design, brilliant yacht. Yet must wonder how Nordhavn have not incorporated the davit pipe into the very early stage of the design engineering. So many yachts simply leave this crucial & compulsory feature out of their design layout so that it becomes an "add on". Having that stand pipe in the centre of the rear cockpit is awful.
I agree, although I do like the idea of what the centerline davit provides. I'm wondering if it could be reversed and hidden in the salon wall next to the door..
@@jtsherry6255 Then it's too far a reach with weight on it. Where it's at keeps weight centered. To the lifting and swinging part of the crane.
60-65 ft is the perfect size for these boats.
Nicely equipped 60. Still not a fan of the master not being on the centerline but other than that its a great boat.

Our respected Garrett does not just, as captain Steve from Boattest did in his time, does a review of the magnificent Nordhavn 60. This yacht with the last name Genesis is supposed to be sold to the fourth owner. Three owners in 4 years is not too much for one yacht? ))
What were her pervious names?
Feb 9, 2019 - Aug 20, 2019 no name, aug 2019 - autumn 2021 Encore, sold in winter-spring 2022 and has the name Genesis. Like that))
