Excellent content mate and as an Everton fan I can understand the frustration you are all going through. Hopefully in the not too distant future it will be resolved and Reading will March onwards and upwards.
Cheers for the comment pal, I really hope that something happens to us very soon regarding the ownership. And the 10 point deduction on Everton was wrong and a bit harsh. URZ
As an Orient I fully support you and just hope there are no further repercussions as you are our next away game hopefully the game will go ahead, the EFL are unfit for the job.
Southend fan here, we been through exactly the same thing. Thankfully we got our owner to finally sell. But to do it we had to go on the pitch we had to disrupt because that got the media attention and our new owner who is an Australian heard about our club BECAUSE of the disruption we caused and then enquired to buy us and did! This proves that it can work and the fans are doing the right thing. Good luck and love from SUFC!
Really feel for you guys. As a Birmingham fan I know exactly how you feel seeing your club sinking like a lead balloon. Keep the faith, keep supporting the boys on the pitch and fingers crossed you'll get rid of this goon and be on the up again.
Think you summed it up nicely at the end. We’ve done protests before the game, marched to the the stadium from town centre, tennis balls and nothing has changed. It was inevitable that protest were going to and probably will ramp up from now on. I don’t honestly know how this directly affects dai Yongge and the owners unless they are personally heavily fined but we’ve got to keep fighting for our club.
Understand the frustration but unfortunately it had got to the point where abandonment was the only option. Story been picked up by all major news outlets, which wouldn't have happened if there was no impact. Think the transfer news on Friday tipped many over the edge - there's now a genuine fear for the clubs existence as assets begin to be stripped
Certainly split the fanbase on the day. I personally wish the game didn't get abandoned, but ultimately nothing else seems to be working, what is the point of 3 points if we can't financially survive until the end of the season anyway. The key here is we shouldn't be in this position but we are, for me I don't think it will make a difference to Dai, but it may make a difference to the speed in which we go into administration or the unlikely scenario of finding a buyer who wants to deal with Dai. Good amount of media attention, on the whole positive, so it may in favour to the cause. P.S like the new opening graphics and re branding, keep it up!
hi pal I completely agree with you that its more important to protest rather than get the club liquidated, thanks for the positive comment about the re branding ! Stay Loyal.
Great video showing what happened and yours and your dads views. Agreed that it should have happened nearer the end of the game / at the end so it didn’t have to be abandoned (thinking of all the travelling fan)
I respect your opinions because you are entitled to your own but saying you would have rather got the three points. Seriously, would you seriously rather 3 points than the club getting liquidated and never being able to watch Reading ever again. I would much rather be a stable league 2 club with good owners than no club at all. But big up anyways and keep up with vids. URZZZ
that's what Connor was saying to me before the match and I completely understand where your coming from with that. I just hope something changes soon with the club. cheers for the comment URZ !
What I don't understand about the EFL is how many clubs is this going to happen too before they do something about it? It is borderline negligence to allow these people in to these clubs when they just cannot do it. Macclesfield Bury Bolton Charlton Wigan Reading Sheffield Wednesday (very well could go down this way soon) And that's only a handful that have gone through this.
Surely the biggest obstacle to Reading getting sold is that they have been asset stripped-the revenue raising hotel kept by the previous owners, the ground flogged and rented back, development land kept to be flogged off-not by the club. Any buyer would want the hotel and ground in the deal to make the thing viable. Surely one way to save clubs is to totally stop any sale of assets-you sel the club entire-as Madejski had created it which was on a sustainable level with the now lost non match day revenues. Stripped of assets anyone coming in is just going to be forever covering debts.
Get what people are saying about you lot needing the 3 points but if you don’t do something then you might not have a club to support come the end of the season. Keep it up I say
@@Boy_Ling exactly, we had a similar situation at Oldham. Our last game of the season was abandoned because of fans on the pitch but ultimately we got the owners out and a decent one in and the club was saved. From what I understand we were literally hours from having the same fate as bury.

My sympathies. I went to a Charlton match years ago under similar circumstances. Hopefully you guys can turn it around.

nah it helped everton become a better team.@@theloyalroyal187I
It's a warning to Chansiri at Sheffield Wednesday who we want out, although our fans more apathetic than Reading's which is sad
Seen a lot about him recently.hope you guys are successful in getting him out. Cheers for the comment.
If he does what reading owner did then that's it time for a change

3 points will never be more important than the possibility of liquidation. Rather be relegated than no have a club to support
Agreed

100% behind you Derby fan
We’re so thankful that Luton are fan owned.
Probably one of the best run teams in the whole football league, what they've done in the past 10 years with comparatively no money, is crazy
Reading 4 Life, we will never die! FU Dia Yongge
was there as a vale fan and loved it when the vale we’re chanting “fuckin mentaaaal, fuckin mentalll!” 😂 agree with you though Dai needs to go!

Very good point pal ! Appreciate the comment
i went up to smith and said please stay and he looked so grumpy
Oh that’s not good 😂 cheers for the comment!
As an outsider, would you like to go down to div2 to get rid of yonng? I think that would bring the loyals back.
What ever it takes to get him out of our club
