- I got a new 4Runner. My 4th one in 20 years. First time in a Pro. Thought about making a review, but didn't really want to talk. Just wanted to a reason to film my new truck. Review thoughts below:
The good:
Best looking and most fully-featured 4Runner ever made
Probably the last model before a redesign, which may take a few years to work the kinks out (new tundra and sequoia have mixed reviews). Prefer the best of the last generation to the first of a new generation.
An SUV that can go anywhere, do anything, and practically last forever
Coming from a 2018 TRD Off-Road, I'm glad to have Android auto, Auto/LED headlights, Auto/Dual-Zone Air, new dash screen with tire pressure monitors and other little handy things, wrap around cameras, safety sense/blind spot monitoring, TOYOTA lettering on the front grill, blacked out wheels
The bad:
the drone of the TRD exhaust (will probably change it out)
same engine I've been driving since 2003 - I obviously like it, but wouldn't mind a 10-speed transmission at this point with a few more MPGs.
Things I added:
Predator lights: www.amazon.com...
Retro TRD color badge: www.amazon.com...
Blacked out tailgate badges: www.etsy.com/l...
Topographic Decals: www.etsy.com/l... - Авто та транспорт
Last year of an iconic generation of 4 runners! This was an amazing run, hope next version is as dependable as this one
I just reserved my own ‘23 4Runner TRD Pro in this juicy Solar Octane!! It’ll be here in 6 weeks!
Congrats!
Jaw dropping beautiful. 🧡
Congrats, I have a 2019 pro myself… it’s literally the be all do all truck… I love mine!
Dear Santa
Love it! Thinking about putting a Magnuson supercharger in mine and upgrading to a 275 KO2 to get that extra 1/2" clearance. Basically these are going to be rare as hens teeth and worth $$$ as these are the final year. I've only ever seen one Solar Octane TRD Pro 4Runner on my 1,200 mile drive back through Chicago when I bought it in December. Hope you're getting as many head turns as mine does!
Seen a couple in San Antonio (or maybe the same one multiple times). Parked next to one at Target the other day, ha
