Wonderful video! I will be planting a quarter acre of Prime-Ark Traveler and Nantahala Raspberries. I'm in North Georgia.. the same USDA hardiness zone as your experiment station. I'm assuming I can prune the Nantahala raspberries in the same manner. Hopefully this will alleviate yield losses due to the late summer heat issues with primocane fruit budding.
I just got a Prime Ark Freedom for my garden in Louisiana. My wild blackberry patch is a mosquito headquarters and the berries are too small and I`m tired of the thorns and copperhead snakes.
@@fernandoBOTnope. She is just extremely intelligent and as knowledgeable. I went to the blackberry class last year and Amanda is really helpful. Also, it was probably cold that day and being that it was warm this past winter, it will rain a lot which chills to the bone in Arkansas.
One more thing to add . This Young lady gave me the answer to a question I’ve had about the primocane blackberries. I wondered if after fruiting on the primocanes should the part that fruited be pruned off as it will not produce anymore . I got my answer so thank you !
I thought her speed of talking was just fine for adult listening. Usually younger listeners may need practice on their listening skills. Before you roast someone else, you should look at yourself first. Being humble is a very good quality in a person
Thank you Amanda
Great information! Thank you.
Best video on the subject I have seen

Thank You. I'm trying to find your plastic clips without success so far. Any suggestions on where I can find some? Proper name?
Those are nice clips. I use wire ties but they still move around on the trellis wire. I'd like to know where you purchased those as well.
Can I grow blackberries in containers? Thanks for sharing.
Yes, but a larger one is best, like 5 to 10 gallons or more.
Horticulture Expert Amanda, you talk too fast. Your report as confusing as that tangle of blackberry vines behind you.
came off as a bit nervous, no need to roast her as she's trying to educate you. humble yourself.

I cut my floricanes right after they are done fruiting so it makes room for the new primocanes
