Mapy.cz - digital traditional hiking map of the whole World

Mapy.cz - most popular map portal and mobile phone app in Czech Republic and Slovakia with users over whole Europe visualizes OpenStreetMap data for whole World (except territory of Czech Republic). Main goal is to offer users map in a map key that they have been using for many years in paper form. In a map you can find all infrastructure and suprastructure for outdoor tourism - for hiking, cycling or winter tourism. App and map portal is for free. Map contains interactive points from OpenStreetMap with photos from users and Wikimedia Commons, texts from Wikipedia and additional information from Wikidata, which make map a comprehensive lexicon about our Earth.
We would like to introduce map portal and app mapy.cz, features used in portal and app, focusing on use of OpenStreetMap data and other open data such as Wikipedia and Wikidata. We will describe process of creating and updating maps and data and mention feedback from milions of mapy.cz users, which can improve OpenStreetMap data as well.
We will introduce you also our CSR activity - tactile maps as part of mapy.cz, which give blind people opportunity to read and navigate maps by touch. Worldwide and free. Built on OpenStreetMaps data.

4:10: Hello, I would respectfully disagree about the comment of "spamming users with offline maps updates". In my opinion, Mobile Mapy map updates should be at least once a month and users should have a choice whether to download them or not - simple as that. I understand some people find it a nuisance to be updating maps frequently, but on the other hand, I'm sure a lot of other users DO care about having an up-to-date map with new paths, dirt roads, routes, buildings etc., rather than not. In a 2-month period there may be numerous changes to OSM database, so it just seems too long of an interval for updates.
As an avid hiker, regular OSM mapper and Mapy contributor outside of Czech republic, I find it demotivating to see my additions/changes/improvements to OSM only visible in Mobile Mapy every 2 months or even more. (2023 was particularly bad when we didn't see Mobile map tiles updated even 4+ months at a time). I'm sure many other mappers and even regular users share the same sentiment with me, so we would really appreciate at least monthly map updates on the Mobile Mapy as well, similar to how many other competitor outdoor apps provide the updates.
