I'm sorry but I'll throw the truth bomb here and say the voices are a "10/10" at all, especially Sonic and Shadow, Sonic sounds too nervous and lacks confidence, Shadow's voice, on the other hand, sounds overly exaggerated and his much colder tone is lacking. Also, his voice should be much lower. The best ones are Metal Sonic, Kamek, Bowser Jr, and maybe Eggman (although his voice should sound higher, but whoever did the voice gets his personality/mannerism right).
The voices happened to be well spot on, especially for Dr. Eggman, Shadow, and even Peach and Metallix (Or Mecha Sonic as it was once called). Bravo for your brilliant effort to you and your comrades!
I got to give NinSega125 special props here: I have never seen anyone else in fandubbing, or acting in general, do a near pitch perfect take of Mike Pollock's voice and performance. It's surreal in the best way possible.
It's VERY close, but there's a clear accent. Despite that, yeah, it took me for a loop too. Really good Eggman, pretty good Shadow, but for me? Bowser's VA took the cake in this episode. THOROUGH confidence in his voice acting. I think that's what I found just a small bit lacking in Eggman's VA. Despite that, again: PRETTY good.
Thank you all for dubbing this, I loved watching the original series when I was younger. I've lost the ability to read due to becoming legally blind from a genetic eye disease so I can only go off of what I hear. I was completely thrown off by the new scenes like Dr Eggman meeting Bowser and co, Luigi vs Wario and Waluigi and Mecha Sonic vs Yoshi being a lot more intense.

Finally got around to watching this. This is my first exposure to anything SMBZ related, and I think this might’ve been the best way to be introduced to it. The dub was extraordinary, and everyone did an outstanding job. I can tell I’ve stumbled upon a special series here, and according to everyone’s reception, it seems I’m not alone in that. The whole episode is literally perfect dubbed! It couldn't be any better. 8:59 On this one I had to go check the original one because I couldn't remember any differences with the voice. 10 out of 10 😁👍

My guy, y’all as a team did a really great job at voicing the characters pitch perfectly (Sonic’s needs a little more work into it but I’m not gonna be rude about it). And especially a special huge shoutout to the both the Actor and Actress behind Peach & Eggman (Starbot Dubs & NinSega125) 🤩. Peach’s sounded very lovely and Eggman’s sounded EXACTLY like Mike Pollock’s Eggman. They both did a PHENOMENAL job at portraying the characters perfectly. Also, why I never saw this video in my recommendations before is beyond me 😅

Oh my dear sweet bippy I can't believe how good this was. Like, oh my god I don't know what to say. [Just kidding I have a frickin lot to say] I love all the little things that were added. The extra grunts during Yoshi vs Metallix, re-dubbing lines that Mark already gave voicing to, the extra lines in the 'commercial break', Metallix's jeer when he sees Sonic and Shadow. Absolutely phenomenal changes that I think enhance the quality of the episode. On the other hand though, I also really loved the restraint on display. I was expecting to see added lines shoved in at every point possible just for the sake of it, but I feel there were only ever voices added if it enhanced the scene. Flawless additions I'd say. NinSega's Eggman was AMAZING, and Siejax's Metallix legitimately gave me chills. I think they were both by far the strongest performances in this dub. Honestly the only person I thought could use some better direction is Xeiality's Sonic. I feel they made Sonic come off as too nonchalant during lines that demanded seriousness (I'll cite "Yoshi's out there ALONE?" and "Shoot! We're too late!" as examples). Everyone else I feel was pretty spot on. -I didn't feel very strongly (positive or negative) about Mario & Luigi having custom lines. I see it as harmless, but also unnecessary. -I found Swordtee's Toadsworth surprisingly good -I'd say Siejax's Shadow was pretty solid -Ardailic's Bowser was really freaking good - MarcusShaw's Kamek & MacKenzie's Bowser Jr both sounded solid (MarcusShaw's Kamek scream was great) -WTF YOU GOT STARBOT TO DO PEACH???! -For future episodes, I would prefer FlashZPlays' Red Koopa Bro to have a more serious tone than silly. His "You bellowed, King Bowser?" was wonderful, but I thought his "On it dudes! Let's go bros!" was way too, well, Hawaiian I guess. Lastly, I noticed a Bowser line that had to be 'hurried along' because of the text's speed, and I think it damaged it's impact. (If those pesky plumbers decide to interfere, youknowwhattodo). That's kind of a delicate issue to tackle, but I think for REALLY serious lines like that, cutting a few words before or after could be a solution. (If those pesky plumbers interfere, you know what to do). Heck, if a scene has no motion, you could probably get away with pausing its movement while keeping the audio playing to extend how long it lasts. Just a suggestion. Overall, I think this dub was absolutely amazing. The editing was fantastic, the extra lines and tweaked SFX were fantastic, the cast was fantastic. If you can help it AAG, I'd recommend keeping this cast, but give Xeiality's Sonic and FlashZPlays' Red Koopa Bro some stronger direction, and don't be afraid to take some creative liberties if you think it will improve the episode. I think you've proven yourself very capable and trustworthy with this dub.

Fun fact: I recorded Shadow's lines for this project only a few weeks after we discovered I could do a Shadow voice. I've had some more practice with it, and next time (if AGG dubs future episodes) I should be able to hit a little closer to home. As for Metallix, his voice is more difficult to do than you might think. There isn't much I can do to change it, so I hope it doesn't bother you too much.

Very good dub! Only 2 complaints: some of Sonic's delivery felt a bit off and could do with some redos, but overall his VA did a solid job. Second thing is that some of the audio, most notably Metalix's audio, is very loud in contract with the music and sound effects. Other than that, great job!
Just to let you all know, Akira Toriyama passed away on the 1st Day of March 2024(aka March 1, 2024) at the age of 68 after he died from subdural hematoma…😞

Hm, when i first watched this Episode, Two things got stuck on my mind, The first thing was that, even though I don’t have that much of a problem with it and i probably could even understand why they went with this approach, but still i found it unfortunate that they decided to reveal Robotnik’s full form out of the Shadows right off the bat, as i found his silhouetted/shadowy design from the original series to be a good look for him, as it made him look and feel more intimidating and threatening than how Robotnik is usually portrayed nowadays, The second thing however, was about their decision to have Yoshi and Metallix fight over the SILVER Emerald instead of the Red one like in the Original Show and their decision to have that same Silver Emerald seemingly speak to Metallix, now i do understand that just because that was the case in the Original Show doesn’t mean that it had to be the case for the Reboot as well, but that is something that could’ve been said for all the other Chaos Emeralds as well and yet, they still decided to have the Blue Emerald be the very first Chaos Emerald we see in this series just the same as in the Original Show, heck they even decided to have the Red Emerald be the second Emerald we see like in the Original Show as well and yet, for some reason they decided to mix up the Original order a bit and of all the Emeralds, they decided to have the Silver Emerald be the one to apparently talk to Metallix, Now I am well aware of the possibility that none of this might actually mean anything and that i might just simply be thinking too much, however when i first saw the Silver Emerald (of all things) seemingly talk to Metallix, i just couldn’t help but to think about: Supplicium: The Silver Chaos Beast.
So, the voice acting... If I HAD to rate it, a B+ at 7/10. It's pretty good. But the sound balancing is ALL OVER the place. Sonic's VA seems to hesitant and lays on the nasally accent of the SA2 version of Sonic a bit too much for it to work. Shadow's VA sounds great when calm, but he doesn't know how to deliver the importance of topics when it calls for an escalation in tone. Eggman's VA is great when he's shouting, but when the tone comes down to a normal talking voice, an accent becomes clear and unfortunately marrs an otherwise stellar performance, and makes his speech sound somewhat muddled and unclear. Metallix's VA is in the right place, but his tonal variation lacks range. Certain lines sound like they're intended to be delivered with more emotion than what is conveyed however, reducing the quality of an otherwise very, very good performance. Peach, Kamek, Toadstool senior, Red Koopa Bro, Bowser Jr. and Bowser's VAs are all pretty much good to go. Speaking of Bowser... Bowser took the CAKE WALKING with swagger on this one. Confident, chill, laying it thick with the fun bad guy vibes. REALLY well done. Only a couple of lines I think could have been delivered better, but that's just a minor nitpick. You've definitely got something pretty good here, but it just lacks a full polish. Despite that, not bad. Not bad at all.
Yoshi got his redemption arc with this fight instead of being a full on slaughter. Actually, it still was a full on slaughter because Metallix didn't even needed the chaos emerald to beat Yoshi. Its just that Metallix was so pissed off that he said "Let me get this over with." This was basically an *OVERKILL* Also before Metallix even use the chaos emerald, Yoshi was getting tired. Metallix also was keeping up with Yoshi and flat out told him he was still too slow. Yoshi was gonna fail regardless ;-; But atleast Yoshi got to look EPIC while fighting.
I don't say voices were wrongly cast, but certainly it lacked naturality when pronouncing most lines. For example, I would have made a stronger emphasis when Sonic says "and Yoshi is out there, ALONE, with a CHAOS EMERALD?!". Pacing is also important. It sounded almost like TTS. But there's a first good step to professionalism.
Sonic and shadow sound a little off ( its not the fox kids versions but hey you work with what you have) eggman on the other hand sounds cool. Peach and toadsworth sound cool too. Hope you guys do more dubs.

Fun fact: I recorded Shadow's lines for this project only a few weeks after we discovered I could do a Shadow voice. I've had some more practice with it, and next time (if AGG dubs future episodes) I should be able to hit a little closer to home. As for Metallix, his voice is more difficult to do than you might think. There isn't much I can do to change it, so I hope it doesn't bother you too much.

I kinda think your metallix voice kinda sounds like perfect cell try to sound like a monotone sonic edit the voice to sound deep and add the filters

Honestly, Shadow and Metallix have good voices. If anything, I think that Sonic can use a bit of work.
Very good dub! Only 2 complaints: some of Sonic's delivery felt a bit off and could do with some redos, but overall his VA did a solid job. Second thing is that some of the audio, most notably Metalix's audio, is very loud in contract with the music and sound effects. Other than that, great job!
Just to let you all know, Akira Toriyama passed away on the 1st Day of March 2024(aka March 1, 2024) at the age of 68 after he died from subdural hematoma…😞

Hm, when i first watched this Episode,
Two things got stuck on my mind,
The first thing was that, even though I don’t have that much of a problem with it and i probably could even understand why they went with this approach, but still i found it unfortunate that they decided to reveal Robotnik’s full form out of the Shadows right off the bat, as i found his silhouetted/shadowy design from the original series to be a good look for him, as it made him look and feel more intimidating and threatening than how Robotnik is usually portrayed nowadays,
The second thing however, was about their decision to have Yoshi and Metallix fight over the SILVER Emerald instead of the Red one like in the Original Show and their decision to have that same Silver Emerald seemingly speak to Metallix,
now i do understand that just because that was the case in the Original Show doesn’t mean that it had to be the case for the Reboot as well,
but that is something that could’ve been said for all the other Chaos Emeralds as well and yet, they still decided to have the Blue Emerald be the very first Chaos Emerald we see in this series just the same as in the Original Show, heck they even decided to have the Red Emerald be the second Emerald we see like in the Original Show as well and yet, for some reason they decided to mix up the Original order a bit and of all the Emeralds, they decided to have the Silver Emerald be the one to apparently talk to Metallix,
Now I am well aware of the possibility that none of this might actually mean anything and that i might just simply be thinking too much, however when i first saw the Silver Emerald (of all things) seemingly talk to Metallix, i just couldn’t help but to think about:

So, the voice acting... If I HAD to rate it, a B+ at 7/10. It's pretty good. But the sound balancing is ALL OVER the place.
Sonic's VA seems to hesitant and lays on the nasally accent of the SA2 version of Sonic a bit too much for it to work.
Shadow's VA sounds great when calm, but he doesn't know how to deliver the importance of topics when it calls for an escalation in tone.
Eggman's VA is great when he's shouting, but when the tone comes down to a normal talking voice, an accent becomes clear and unfortunately marrs an otherwise stellar performance, and makes his speech sound somewhat muddled and unclear.
Metallix's VA is in the right place, but his tonal variation lacks range. Certain lines sound like they're intended to be delivered with more emotion than what is conveyed however, reducing the quality of an otherwise very, very good performance.
Peach, Kamek, Toadstool senior, Red Koopa Bro, Bowser Jr. and Bowser's VAs are all pretty much good to go. Speaking of Bowser...
Bowser took the CAKE WALKING with swagger on this one. Confident, chill, laying it thick with the fun bad guy vibes. REALLY well done. Only a couple of lines I think could have been delivered better, but that's just a minor nitpick.
You've definitely got something pretty good here, but it just lacks a full polish. Despite that, not bad. Not bad at all.
Yoshi got his redemption arc with this fight instead of being a full on slaughter. Actually, it still was a full on slaughter because Metallix didn't even needed the chaos emerald to beat Yoshi. Its just that Metallix was so pissed off that he said "Let me get this over with." This was basically an *OVERKILL*
Also before Metallix even use the chaos emerald, Yoshi was getting tired. Metallix also was keeping up with Yoshi and flat out told him he was still too slow. Yoshi was gonna fail regardless ;-;
But atleast Yoshi got to look EPIC while fighting.

I don't say voices were wrongly cast, but certainly it lacked naturality when pronouncing most lines. For example, I would have made a stronger emphasis when Sonic says "and Yoshi is out there, ALONE, with a CHAOS EMERALD?!". Pacing is also important. It sounded almost like TTS. But there's a first good step to professionalism.
