@@AubreyRunning To you and Yowana, thank you so much for the relatable and inspiring content! From a fellow average runner/hobby jogger/running dad in SSA
Of all the hobbies I have had in my life, running is the only one that literally extends my life as well as improving my life. Happy to be a hobby jogger.
Last every time but consistent showing up.. we are all here with you..being average.. going outside and just enjoy the run..good or bad, just run and smile after..
Consistency is King Focus on the process The journey. Soon you'll be at the place which was once your goal ❤❤❤ And most importantly Be grateful for running (even walking) at any pace is a dream for many .
This video highlights everything that I love about running. The commitment, the community, the humility. Thank you for this. And thanks for the shout out to Yowana, who is another great example for us everyday runners/"hobby joggers".
I own more rubbish-weather running gear than summer gear. It's absolutely true that running in crap weather makes you that much more of a badazz! Let's go Aubrey, you got this in the bag already man!
@@AubreyRunning hey do you think the addias supernova rise and the Hoka mach 6 is a good running combo the mach for speed and rise for daily running I pick up of these for about 150
Really loving this series, it’s exactly what we all normal people need. After my last 10k race in October 2024 I was mentally exhausted. I needed a break from running, it wasn’t fun anymore. I needed to focus on other, more important things. I have started running again with no goals and it’s been a week now, just to enjoy it, and it feels great. Thank you for these videos man!
I’m such a fan Aubrey! The intro to this video tugged on all the heartstrings. I’ve been following Yowana for a long time and loved the shoutout. Y’all both keep me motivated and remind me everyday why I do this and why I enjoy it. Much love!
This is good stuff excellent work - anyone who can get out the door and do any kind of run regardless of pace is a winner (especially this time of year 😂)
One of the greatest things about running is almost anyone can turn average talent into above average results by running high volume. Yowana ran 5000 miles last year! If you run everyday, you'll never be last at Park run. Keep putting out the great content!
Love these videos man. Still haven’t started a running IG. But have several races lined up. Went from 0 runs in 2023 to running 900 miles in 2024. Looking to complete my first marathon in 2025.
I'd also like to give some appreciation from a veteran runner. Back in the day, I guess I would've been considered a sub elite runner but 20 years later I've had to get better at being good with being me. I think there's plenty of good elite and sub elite creators out there but it's people like you that help me find my 'why' on that personal journey.
Yo Aubrey, after doing a few Hyrox now and getting a bit of a love for running, your channel has vibe has fully inspired me. Even to the point of doing a lil sumfin on YT myself. I have a whole new veiw of running now thanks to you. Big up yourself for sharing your journey! It's so good to see you shining. Not sure if you're close to Dartford area but would be great to go on a lil run if you're up for it (I'm a VERY average runner BTW). Anyway, just thought I'd drop you that. Keep shining bro!
Love this. You have without doubt the best attitude. It's infectious. I sincerely hope you achieve all your goals this year, because you deserve to. What would you like to achieve in London? What other races are you doing?
I signed up to the Cathedral to castle race 10 miles from Lichfield cathedral to Tamworth castle grounds, I also signed up to the Barmouth 10K too. I'm going out on sunday with some friends for an 11 mile run (which will be my longest run ever) Running these days feels so much harder than it used to, 20+ years ago i was a sub 16 minute 5k runner, it feels like a life time ago now though.
@@AubreyRunning It went suprisingly well. I felt like i had more left in the tank when we finished. I'd be lying if i said i wasn't super nervous before hand though. I had never gone beyond 8 miles. We're doing 12 miles next Sunday.
I'm a hobby jogger with no aspirations of running a marathon. I just want to enjoy the scenery of the outdoors, getting that fresh air, and moving my body ❤
I appreciate you man! You're going to crush this London build 🙌🏽
You’re a gem my guy! You’ve created a lane and own that thing the way only you can. Sincerely proud of you brother!

Shoutout to Yowana - I am a new Hobby Jogger. Thank you for creating this awesome community. Glad to be Here.
It’s honestly my pleasure. It feels special when you’re average yourself and just trying to bring as many people along as possible. Thank you
I'm an average runner and a Hobby Jogger and I run to enjoy the outdoors. It helps me deal with the other stress in life.
Such an amazing outlet! I have found that running keeps me balanced

Garmin’s training plan is really good as well! I personally enjoy it!
It took me a while to realise that being an average runner in the UA-cam space is an actual super power once you embrace it

Thanks! Will do! Not taking off my foot off the gas!!! Full steam ahead
Proud to always be prioritizing slow but steady running paces and going home feeling great knowing I ran injury-free by doing so 😊
That’s the beauty of staying where you are and owning it. You don’t feel pressure to outdo others
You win medals one day I believe we all will
The medals we get at the end of the race are still won because we run that race however easy or difficult
