I began with one video and ended up binge watching this channel. So addictive in terms of content, narration and undefined capability to hold a grip with the audience. I literally looked for subscribe button although I had subscribed long ago.
It was worth watching and very informative, just imagine the scenario of you and your family present at that spot and now almost 12,705 nuclear weapons in the possession of 9 countries makes everybody vulnerable for extinction in case of severe conflict. If you study the economic scenario of Japan in 1945,they were on the brink of total collapse, and dropping could have been delayed or totally avoided.
You know why no major war has occurred in the last 70 years, because people saw the utter nuclear destruction and armed themselves for a collective suicide. Mutually assured destruction is the true reason for global peace (kind of) and not Gandhi an ideology or hippies in front of the white house.
It could not have been. You must have skipped over all history channel documentaries and other stuff about Japan's imperialist tendencies that caused a lot of loss of life and otherwise. They were infamous around that time for their massacres, illegal inhumane experiments and even forcing people to participate against their will. And not to forget Pearl Harbour.
A prolonged world war would undeniably cause millions of death and trillions of economic loss for several nations. That is why it was used as a last measure. Who knew that in retrospect, Japan would become the beacon of culture and technology and China would instead be everything anti democracy in years to come.
In less than 80 years , Japan has become one of the most developed countries of the world both economically and socially. Take a bow Japan 🙌🏻 And India even after not facing such a devastating attack or anything that bad, after 75 years of independence still at developing stage...We all need to join hands to make India a fully developed country..!!!
ill never forget one testimony of a Hiroshima survivor who described the immediate reaction to the blast of the bomb "We didnt think it was a bomb. It was so huge, so totally destructive, we thought the world was splitting in two"
This is what happens when there is dictatorship. Democracy might have numerous flaws, but usually no two democratic countries declare war on each other.

Not without a much higher human cost. Your view is in retrospect
You know why no major war has occurred in the last 70 years, because people saw the utter nuclear destruction and armed themselves for a collective suicide. Mutually assured destruction is the true reason for global peace (kind of) and not Gandhi an ideology or hippies in front of the white house.
We are sitting on a volcano
It could not have been.
You must have skipped over all history channel documentaries and other stuff about Japan's imperialist tendencies that caused a lot of loss of life and otherwise. They were infamous around that time for their massacres, illegal inhumane experiments and even forcing people to participate against their will. And not to forget Pearl Harbour.
A prolonged world war would undeniably cause millions of death and trillions of economic loss for several nations. That is why it was used as a last measure.
Who knew that in retrospect, Japan would become the beacon of culture and technology and China would instead be everything anti democracy in years to come.
You have really summed up everything in a perfect way. I usually send your videos to different groups. 👍🏽
Indeed the video was great! but he didn't mention the war crimes committed by imperial Japan, so it portrays only one side of the coin.
@@UDHAV79 Well, does it mean what USA did was justified?. what you're saying is a different topic.
In less than 80 years , Japan has become one of the most developed countries of the world both economically and socially. Take a bow Japan 🙌🏻

Fun fact: There was a man who was on a business trip in Hiroshima on the day the bomb dropped, he then went back home, covered in bandages, to go back to work in Nagasaki 3 days later, when he was explaining to his boss what happened, the second bomb dropped, he then survived again, He would stay alive until 2010.

9:17 this what jihadi muslim scholar teach about Quran to their followers. Allah ka akhiri paigam.
There was a chapter in my English textbook (while i was in school) about Hiroshima and Nagasaki incident which was mostly the perspective of Japanese .And now after knowing the US perspective and all i still can say the same words "Genocide can never be justified. " bc there are always and always other options.
There is no rule killing civilians in war . It was against morality.
I also had that chapter around 7th class i guess it was in English text book reading it was already so terrifying after knowing the truth it is more off terrifying like how for politics they can go for mass genocides it is really heartbreaking human always believed in killing for living and it's the harsh truth they kill others as well as their own kind they are seeds of there own destruction world has again started with so many wars amongs countries giving threats of nuclear bombs this is really very frightening that politics is winning against humanity
