I am surprised they don't make you wear a helmet. Over here they had a similar show and helmets were mandatory, which is ridiculous, cause Florida allows motorcyclists to ride with no helmet. Makes zero sense.

So a normal bike can go as fast as the cyclist is capable of doing, but E bikes cannot? Hey, I am blowing $15k on an e bike and I have to use it like a senior riding an XP trike in the USA?
In Michigan I don't think anyone will care for a bike that goes under 28 mph. Unless it's $899 or so. If a bike goes 35 mph we would pay $2,000. if it goes 40 we would pay $3,000 or maybe more.. Under 28 mph it's useless junk! Unless you are 65 or a girl . just saying.
Your forgetting a very important angle to Ebikes: The law, it's illegal to ride anything usually tha goes above 25 MPH unless it's licensed and insured, so there is not a great movement for the Ebike industry to make them go faster, since Ebike laws are so restrictive and are going to get more restrictive as faster Ebikes in the last few years has resulted in a explosion in personal injury and accidents, (but I kind of get what your saying, I'm looking for the right 2000 Watt motor Ebike under 2,000 right now and have not found it yet, they exist but the range is often too low ie not above 40 AMPS, and I want at least 45 AMPS with a rear rack for that money.
