- Mai Chau Vietnam has some the strangest and unique foods I have ever tasted in all of Vietnam. The flavour palette is completely opposite to the standard Vietnamese flavours I am use too! Join me to discover whether this unique food is delicious or not.

BangBros!
A real piece of Vietnamese culture
;)
Super cuteness
Y’all make a cute couple.
Hey Dave, I am in the US and I enjoy your free spirit, your love of nature, your humor, your energy, your curiosity and your very good personality. It gives me calm watching you enjoy your meal and your interaction with people all over the place. Great work my friend!
Wow love that, glad you enjoy watching ❤️
Dave - You are going to achieve what you’re pursuing and more. There’s a special charisma about you that draws viewers in. Keep up the good work brother!!!
Thanks brother 🙏
If only this girl wore glasses, she would be perfect for Dave! 😄
😂🤓
She is so sweet, David. You two would make a great couple!
I just keep watching your videos from here the U.S. I like your giggles and friendliness and the way you communicate with local people. Keep up the good work cuz I like all Asian countries travels especially southeast asian countries
798 Like Great lunch something different, nice family running the restaurant. Fully watch to the end.
I'm very curious about Vietnam and the culture, hoping to explore one day. This is the way a restaurant should operate, locally sourced, fresh and seasonal ingredients.
Highly recommend visiting one day!
Traditional dishes is Gold .. Looks a little strange, but that is the beauty of it. Originality is the best.
Thanks for showing us! They were very sweet. My mum is also from the south so I get what you mean. They were a little harder to understand but it is lucky you speak some Vietnamese. Great video again! X
Tip her David, it would make her family day
Trang - Quán 3 Chị Em Mai Châu : the 3 Sisters restaurant
Trai tài gái sắc! 2 bạn hợp nhau. chúc 2 người nên duyên.
Bạn vô quán này nhậu hay đấy , bạn cứ tự do thoải mái ngồi ăn
Xong làm vlog ga
What a nice girl! So kind and hospitable
Snails from the rice fields or the sea are really good. Grasshoppers (they are not ordinary grasshoppers--they eat every green thing in their path--rice, etc.), we call them APAN in the Phillipines, great when cooked dried.
This snail lives in Mountain, not in the rice field. Its quite distinct
I rarely subscribed nowadays BUT bumping into your channel with your youthfulness and the naive interaction with the girl got me lol. Reminded me of old good days.
That’s awesome 🙏
I noticed a Aussie accent😂😂 Enjoy away from the tourist areas, see the real Vietnam, love the people, the culture and the food. Keep up the great work...
Aussie accent indeed haha
The boy Dave has pulled. Go with the girl and have a nice time
You should have asked her about the slightly sour avocado drink. I need to make some for me too. My favorite VN condiment in mam duoc.
Hey David- Trang is a sweetheart. I really hope you went back for the duck-anh yêu em 😍
Haha
😂
Loved the video, need more like this ahhaah
You are so sweet and kind ❤
Weather looks hot there .That looks good local cuisine also😊
So hot in Vietnam during summer haha
Great mate would love to go there one day 😊
Hi David, I just subscribed your Chanel, I am interesting thi video clip, have a good heath, thanks.
Good morning David, my boy! I'm lagging today hehehe...
the girl is pretty and friendly to introduce local cuisines to you
Give them a nice tip next time for that service
Such a cool experience.
I love those snails, in Vietnam you can eat so many different sea food. Actually when I eat these snails, I take out the bit from the inside, and I take of the very end bit, for some reason I don’t eat that. But many people do. Cool video man 👌💯
ewwwwwww
Dangg bro your living da life! Safe travel brother
in the Philippines and Thailand vlogs you wore tank tops and jerseys David look like you’re struggling and fighting that heat my friend 😰🥵 suns out time to let them guns out 💪🏻😂
The heat definitely gets to me big time 😂
Bro definitely buy a jar of that seasoning it’s rare stuff can’t buy it in the city no matter how much money you have 😂. Dude perfect collaboration if you do a video with Trang. The food in that area is a little bit more sour because of the available ingredients which is hard finding other places plus preserving pickling food in the North is a big thing. 🍻🍻👍👍
come to bandung and grab some ur snails may boyyyZz
New city new girl 🤭
“Lá Lồm” my ear went wrong at the first time I heard!😂😂
😂
Ốc Đá đặc sản
Love your videos👍
One question, if I may?
Lots of food, particular fresh meats etc. sems to be openly displaced in VN.
Are flies not an issue....and some food rotting in 35 degree rather fast?
Cheers
from Cairns/Australia
I’ve honestly wondered that too 😅 But thankfully in the last 7 months of travel I haven’t got food poisoning.
Đừng lo lắng, sẽ không ai mua miếng thịt đã bốc mùi.
While I am waiting for the 35 minutes advertisement to finish, (this was probably 40 minutes because it's been playing for a while before I decided to look and caught it at 34 minutes remaining time), what was the sour agent they use (green leaves)? I was thinking, could it be from a Tamarind tree? In the Philippines, Snails are cooked in coconut milk and it's the only way I would eat a snail. They'll prepare it with a little bit of spice and it is so good my boy... if you go back to Manila, you should look for it and try it...
Unsure of the English translation but some sort of sour peaf called La Lom in Vietnamese I believe
First of your video I watched and I’m more confused than anything. Food looks weird but every region is different. I am from the south too but I eat and like just about all Vietnamese cuisine. Looking forward to the next video mate.
This is a great video!
Trang her English is great !
David looks like this new adventure of yours might be for a reason, you might finally find that special someone my friend! The girl from the hotel with glasses is interested and looks like this girl from the restaurant might be as well, should try dating them both matey as could be your reason on why you were destined to travel .. good luck matey!
You are awesome. I fly next week to HcMC. How long you stay ?
Currently not in Vietnam unfortunately! Have a great trip :)
Her english is pretty good, Vietnam must be hot AF!
I’m sweating everyday haha
Em ấy xinh xinh, nhìn là yêu luôn
You are in the mount area but it's like being sauna weather bro? Keep it up.

Hey David, isnt the prices alittle high for Vietnamese food ?
It is a little bit you’re right
in indonesia we eat the snail too but i think just popular in sundanese and we eat different idk how to describe but like you suck the meat out of the snail with your lips directly we called "TUTUT"
I like snails too...in garlic , herb butter sauce.
12 snails....with some bread....in Australia some 24 Australian dollar!!!!
Love Indonesia.....went 1984 all the way from Bali to Sumatra by boat, train and buses.
Right now I can't remember the city, our destination in Sumatra....but Sumatra was one of the best experiences in my life!!!
Cheers

Tôi là một tín đồ các món Ốc :))

YOU HAVE A WIFE NOW ;)
Got the rizz without even trying 😎
I studied Rizzonomics at Uni
Haha...In the beginning showed the cost as 150,000, then at the end was 170,000...haha. Shrewd business woman.
150K for the dish, 20k for a bowl of rice and 30k for avocado smothy.
Where did you get that rigetty bike?…:-))
From my homestay haha
nói tiếng Việt giống ông Thái VG :)))
David when you go to the miền Tây?

Can I cook for you traditional Burmese spicy dishes? 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Maybe one day haha, never tried Burmese food before
So here's the grasshopper dish in this video - ua-cam.com/video/w-MKgg6R_3g/v-deo.html
What an absolutely lovely young lady❤❤❤❤. You might find that the bitterness is due to you eating the poo sack at the inside end of the snails.
That would make sense haha
I can tell by your sweating it was hot. Asking them to turn off the fan was a sacrifice for better audio.
Definitely sacrificed the breeze for better audio 😂
Where is this in Vietnam
Mai Chau
❤
Guys, wendy might get jealous 😂
😂
Of course you have special treatment because you are "Việt kiều ", you was born in Australia and you are banana, Sound like the mother like you alot, and she gave you discount! flies around you because you are so sweet! @@davidkhai that's her UA-cam channel?
@@davidkhai found it Thanks!
Did you speak some Vietnamese to them? Is it hard to learn? Otherwise interesting video
I grew up speaking Vietnamese so it’s natural but I think the simple phrases are easy to learn, but longer sentences etc… definitely a lot harder
@@davidkhai I saw in the haircut video that you were speaking Vietnamese with your family. Thanks God they made that investment with you as a kid si that you didn't lose your roots. I like your videos
The whole meal was ~$10.00AUD!!!
người việt thì nói tv dùm đi cho con bé khỏi mò tiếng anh thấy tội nghiệp. 😅
👍👍🔥🔥
Hey bro
Do you know mychonny?
I do, use to watch him back in the day
You’re supposed to rip the poop sack out of the snails not eat it
the whole menu is in English, pretty sus

Of course it’s authentic Vietnamese food when it’s in Vietnam. 🤦🏻♀️

What is her UA-cam channel?
Trang _ Quan 3 Chi Em Mai Chau
Nice video man. I know you're traveling and enjoying your life. Living the dream. I don't know what you relationship status is. But man honestly if opportunities come to you I would definitely not sleep on it or atleast keep in touch with them. The way society has been nowadays it getting tough to find someone modest.
Speaking the truth man
Đây là quán Cave ông ơ... Đúng là người rừng
Sao mày biết?
Both can speak Vietnamese, yet both try to speak English, WTF
I’m not fluent in Vietnamese, hence the conversation is easier for me in English
Sorry but i did not get her UA-cam channel
