A fan favourite character debuts on my anime vs manga series.
For me, the outcome of this duel was always obvious; Manga can't keep up with how powerful anime Judai is, as well as Masked Heros in the manga not being as strong as their official version.

I love how chill the duel was at the beginning, just two bros showing off how cool each of their extra decks are. And then at the end, aniem Jaden was like "You wanna see something REALLY cool?"

I think my favorite play was the triple "favorite hero" summon, since it feels like an updated version of his graduation duel's finishing flow
That’s what I wanted, unfortunately flare wingman and neos knight didn’t do much because manga judai is also strong
That's also the feeling that i got watching that and it brought a smile on my face
Honestly, i think Anime jaden is a better duelist, despite manga having a better deck
And anime has supreme king + yubel power
Manga judai even lost to adrian/amon before facing tragoedia

@@NaBYGO i think the weirdest part of the manga is how he used another dude's deck for a hefty chunk of the story
so while i get why he gave it one last hurrah against tragoedia, it's like having a kagillion soul cards for one duel XD
@@MegaMachiOnline yeah it would have been better to have introduced masked heros earlier, could have also added more support to the deck with more duels

That was a genuinely a very good back and forth duel. This is my first time watching a video from your channel, is it bots piloting the decks? If so, I'm impressed with how both played
It is me with 2 edopro open dueling each other. I script the duels
God...making me choose between my favorite character in all of fiction's anime and manga counterparts. Honestly the manga has more versatility with the Elemental Heroes which is why i like them more, but the anime has Neos.....which is my favorite Elemental Hero.......god this is hard, but interesting. Cuz the manga plays Elemental Heroes more offensively and the anime kinda plays more defensively but the decks can do both go on offense and defense. God this is hard.

I won’t lie, I had no idea that the anime version of Magma Neos had that effect when shuffled into the Extra Deck. It’s cool to see the effects that weren’t shown off in the anime
Yeah, very unknown when judai never let them return to the extra deck
typically magma neos doesn't get the chance on the opponent's turn, and it's uber risky to do it on your own turn

It's normal that the Jaden of season 4 wins, he has much more experience, he has the power of Yubel and the Supreme King and the power of the neo spacian with him

I like this duel (Due to bias with anime Jaden as I saw him got clapped by Manga Jaden before) Just a question or 2; Why not use anime effect of Convert Contact to let Jaden draw 4 cards on turn 4? Since it had a different effect in the anime. And on turn 12? Yeah, anime Jaden could've won sooner as Shining Flare Wingman attacking and paying 500 LP to use the effect of Shining can give Jaden the dub. Again, I love this duel, but just wondering about those 2 plays and not to disrespect Manga Jaden; But he had quite the broken deck if you merge his E Hero and Masked Hero deck together, but individually? They're not very good, lol.
Convert contact later gets changed to its official effect, since I’m using neos wiseman, i have to use a later version of the cards judai used
Emergency bulkhead prevented manga’s monsters from being destroyed by battle that turn, that’s why Anime attacked with magma neos and not flare wingman
@@NaBYGO Ah, fair enough. I still love the duel because I didn't want my boy Jaden to lose to his manga counterpart! XD But yeah, sorry for nitpicking the duel, I do love your cheoreography.
@@thehoennguardians4286 don’t worry about nitpicking, I do that more than anyone (except a friend that judges my duels before I upload them, so I don’t do any questionable plays lol).

A very good choice for a 100th video. I speak from experience that a good 100th video is a great experience.
Also, question, how did Manga Jaden get around Neos Wisemans effects exactly?
It was a last minute realization because one minute I had 94 videos and then I had 99, but was great.
First, he avoided being damaged, that’s why only anime judai gained LP, then on the following turn, mask function prevented wiseman from triggering its effects, so he could attack it without losing
This is literally the first video of anime jaiden wining a duel because the majority I've seen has manga jaiden win
i've seen some scripted duels on the jp side of things, so this would be my 2nd time
still pretty rare, like yusei beating yugi
@@MegaMachiOnline that’s a decision I don’t understand, anime judai is one of the strongest duelists ever in any anime/manga
@@NaBYGO I've been around for a few years, so ignoring time travel (Post!KC Grand Championship & Post!Dark Signers scaling... even though DM has power cliffing and 5D's has a power curve), there was a big boom of people who fixate on IRL gameplay and effects, going as hard as to use "Future = Better" arguments rather than narrative/internal portrayal
So most of the arguments have always been Omni Heroes > E Heroes... even though they're not his. Masked Heroes being more competitive... even though they were amped IRL just like Arc-V was and... wouldn't be mixed with the former
Once VRAINS happened, a lot of people dropped off the sentiment of IRL bias, albeit the Yugi/Atem cheating allegations via puzzle (because of the dark power and knowledge, which is likely atem, otherwise conflict with most of the story) have only intensified as much as people wanting Playmaker vs Atem on some Gojo vs Sukuna type beat.
I feel like it's mostly a case of people looking at the wiki/fandom page, looking at the cards and win-loss records, and ignoring context.
@@MegaMachiOnline I always go by what cards they played, how op they are and how well they did in their series vs other duelists
And of course, I use their anime/manga version as much as possible
any chance you can post the list for the masked heroes, id like some of those manga cards

Would have been surprised if the Manga Version won.
He doesn't even feel like the protagonist for the second half of the Manga and barely wins.
His Heroes only seem stronger because that most of his cards were buffed, while Anime Judai's were nerfed.

And then in the final chapter he just duels the world champion, which is weird when he didn’t even defeat his rival at school

Manga jaden deck is actually better is Just super op Powers diff. The elemental HEROs from manga are Crazy as well as vision HERO that are the HEROs that enable competitive viability tô HERO to This day.
@@PedroMiguel551 in this case, yeah..but that’s not saying much, anime jaden has a lot of situational cards that have really bad conditions, not to mention that the neo spacians SUCK. the only thing that carries anime jaden is his insanely OP extra deck and the amount of cards that can help him fusion summon, like super poly or double fusion (which is already an OP card by itself). manga jaden has a way better main deck, so I agree with you on that. but he is not much better than his anime counterpart. he just has less situational cards. manga cards are always straightforward.
@@droppings ye If It wasnt the wild heart Blade Edge fusion manga jaden Just swarms the field with masked heros and contrast hero with normal heros is a op straight target negate quick effect easy to summon
@@droppings manga judai has easier access to his extra deck with using just 2 cards to summon them, the only problem is using like 6/7 main deck masked heros, which if we take crystal beasts as an example, are really hard to use in a normal duel
Bro this is a scripted duel. Manga Jaden is probably the most powerful deck that exists in the anime/manga scene. I have been playing anime/manga duels on Edo Pro for years. Jaden
