Pattern i noticed:
Rockstar tries fixing issue, disappoints players in the process or worse, creates more issues.

i was switching over to a different character and wanted to sell my opp mk1 and deluxo only to see they add up to about 200k in total ima just buy a modded account at this point they ruined the game
Why don't they go into lobbies and ban the countless people who are level 8000 which is impossible to achieve though normal gameplay before doing this and affecting legit players?
8000 lvl peaople are cheaters with modded account and bilions in money, they dont need to sell duplicated cars

Don't play the game and just reuse old footage and mention that. So people know that he's not gonna play It.
Typical example of R* punishing innocent players for stuff modders/glitchers will probably find a workaround for anyway.
I don’t sell cars often, but when I do, it’s when I take the time to organize my garages and rearrange cars. When I do this I usually end up selling 5 or 6 cars that I don’t use, or have lost interest in. I pretty much never sell just one car.
This problem is something they are partially responsible for creating in the first place, by making the economy so restrictive and grind focused.
Plus shark cards are still ridiculously overpriced. I wouldn’t buy them anyway, but even if I was tempted, I could never justify the price tags that have still not been readjusted for the in game infaltion.

To add the opportunity for players to buy cars with liveries that are unavailable, for unknown reasons - nooo.
Remove a bunch of cars from websites and castrate gta online so that players don't get the desired transport - yeah yeah and repeat YEAH.

Mate everything you said was bang-on. Rockstar are revelling in holding us to ransom with all this crap. They've know full well that they've got us by the balls, simply because of how addicted to the series we are & how long we've been dying to see GTA6 released over the past decade. We HAVE TO start a petition, if only to hopefully make Rockstar aware of just how much they're rubbing us, the very people making them tons of money, royally up the wrong way about a whole host of decisions that rob us of joy in gameplay. If we wanna continue to truly enjoy it then at the very least we've gotta try!

3rd the Jets
4rd the Oppressors
5th Now everything can be done in a "Invite Only" lobby, making the game a single player experience
6th the AI hitscan aim
7th the NPC traffic is rage inducing
8th the missions are just wasting our time unnecessarily

The 5th one is a good move in my opinion. Not everyone wants to play with strangers and just wants to play with the people they know or on their own by having safety during selling missions. Cheaters or not there are griefers everywhere and we cannot control other people.

I think many competitive gamers left GTAVO long ago cause the game has been so "rigged" for griefers.
The player base is car guys, RP guys, noobs, and griefers. Very few dedicated grinders in a public session, making it near impossible to find a decent teammate.
@paulodiaz5774 I agree. The option to play with randoms should be there. On PC it's horrible. The modders and cheaters are everywhere. If you're not picked with by a cheater or modder then your griefed.
Invite only doesn't have to be a solo experience. But if I choose to play alone then that should be my preference.

Clearing out garages for new builds is a big reason. When i was part of a racing series It was pretty common to buy multiple cars to test for that weeks races then sell what doesnt work for you and at least get most of your money back to use on other builds. Selling old cars you might not use as often to buy newer dlc cars was another big thing as well.

personally i dont think this new selling system will be in gta 6 or gta 6 online. from the leaks people found the car fence, so i think to sell most cars you have to go there instead of in gta 6's version of LS customs

I had a thing with shark cards in the past, any time I bought something from a shark card I'd always feel a regret about it. I'd normally would sell whatever I bought with in the week and make it something else, over time I got to the point of just grinding for the item instead of running my credit card and it had made the game more enjoyable. However, as the price of things started to rise, my enjoyment with the game didn't and I eventually fizzled out of interest. Now I'll log in after a new update for about a day or two then go back to just watching videos of the game and not having interest of playing it.
The one thing that needs chages is if you que for a match no matter what it is and you quit npc will triple on your next sell mission!

Why would you want to sell your cars? I think I've sold cars when I ran out of parking spaces but only cars I won on the wheel. What's the point of playing if you don't have every spot in the game full of cars?
We should at least make 5% or 10% off the cars that we sell to other people because we obtained the car before it was removed and amd now its rare in the game.. Rockstar's benefiting from every direction but we're not getting anything for the money we spend. WHy don't we petition that
Not possible since you cannot apply normal world econy here. Technically even removed cars can be bought infinitely in LS Car meet so there will be no basis for the economy here in terms of the car rarity.
@@paulodiaz5774 it's a video game, they can make something possible with a few alterations. All 200 cars are not fully available in the game. Even with the Auto Shop and other ways you can still buy the car.. yes most cars are bought through LSCM and that's where the player with the car should at least get 5-10% profit of the sale. This is what made the cars rare, caused FOMO for them to drive traffic to GTA plus and other streams of income for them. They can find away for us to benefit.
@@FMBMurdaGaming Yes, it is indeed a video game thus applying real world economy and track down the rarity and number of cars present in the game per category, type and variations is just too much work in a game. they can do it if they will put people and resources to make it possible but knowing Rockstar they will not even bother to apply this mechanic for a decade year old game. They should have done it way earlier if they have the intention to do so and since GTA 6 in near if ever they can do it they should apply it there but then again, applying that mechanic is still too much. Even the stock market mechanic in the story mode is just simple knock off of it which cannot be applied in the online version.

Pro Tip. Make friends with those that has bought or won whatever car you want, then mosey on over to the LS Car Meet and buy that car. Problem solved with podium prize rides.

Yeah, you're probably right. I wasn't hyped for GTA 6, and now I think I probably won't be playing it all. And I played 5 Online A LOT (not as much as you, but still).
Stopping playing the online part of this game was one of my best decisions a few years ago.
I no longer have any interest in playing the next game's online.
I'll just wait for a similar self-hosting server as FiveM.
They already ruined by taken out cars from shop....
I think to balance out the sell limit they would have to at the very least make it so that the 1st car you sell actually sells for the full price you bought it at. Then 90%,80%,70% and so on, unless they still wanna be dicks about it then 75%,50%,25%.

PC was abandoned years ago, so much new content has been added over the years that they skipped for PC (cars, HSW, etc.). Sad to see that I've been playing the game for over a decade on PC, and to see it in the state that it's in, can't play a normal session without a modder in it
Lol that’s the worst part.. the only place those game breaking modders are at is on pc… which they’ve shown they don’t care about at all.. so basically they’re just trying to combat “car dupes” which is honestly just there being something wrong with there game that allows glitches like that to happen
