I never understand when they say that a look is suited more toward better players. I'm not a better player and I'd prefer the thinner smaller looking irons, I just can't hit them well.
@@TheDjSpeechless I think they are better. Went from stiff to regular shafts, so quite a change. A little more forgiving, definitely better, but not ground breaking. I’m a 14 handicap so maybe a better player would notice more.
Difference in average launch angle from a 6 to 7 iron is just over 1 degree so it's not as significant as you'd think. I mentioned the flight as it was vastly different and more so than just a club difference. Different apex, much higher launch. This is a common difference across the board for a 2019-2021 comparison. Didn't have the same clubs with me unfortunately!
@@GolfmagicPlus people never think of this. At a par 3 they ask their buddy what iron they hit because he nailed it to middle of the green. Their buddies is a 30° 7 iron. So they take theirs and it lands way short of the green because his 7 iron is 36°. Makes a HUGE diff
Ya that doesn’t make sense to use a 6 and 7 iron to compare , and especially to compare ball flight. Curious to know the thought process here . 🤔
Agree. Grab 2 x 7s or don’t even mention distances there’s no point

You should have waited until you had the same number of irons to compare. It makes the comparison seem void... Sorry
Why didn’t you compare the same club from each set?? Wouldn’t that have given better comparison results?
Didn't have the same clubs for both irons unfortunately!
1st video I've seen of yours and I won't be back... how can you review the flight and distance of 2 different lofted clubs
How about an upgrade from TM R9 TP to P790? Can't wait to get these!
Why use the same divot path too with a different iron? Why not 6 and 6 and like step back half a foot
Why did you use two different irons?
Just ordered the 2021 version after having the 2017 version. Can’t wait to get them in a few weeks.
Any update?

test 2017 vs 2021 definitely
Of course you’d expect to see a higher flight with the 7 iron 🤦♂️
