Hello UA-camrs, I am sharing my story hoping it will help someone. What they don’t tell you in these videos is that endoscopic surgery is NOT covered by health insurance (in the United States). I had to pay $30K for my procedure (May 2024). However it was more than worth it. I had to acquire the funds from my retirement account. Borrow the money if you need, you will be glad you did. Immediately after surgery, I was instantly and fully healed with no recovery time. Nor did I need any pain medication afterwards at all, whatsoever. It was money well spent.

Endoscopic operations have a very hight rate of the success. The surgeon takes off only the "bulge" that causes the pain and it doesn't make any damage.

Sir have disc prblm firm 1and half year , i have consulted the doctor and have my MRI also , here my MRI report is : Mild postero central protrusion of L4 L5 intervertebral disc causing indentation on thecal sac, sir could pls identify my prblm and suggestion
Dear Anup Jha, the disc is usually ruptured before the operation, which in turn causes the disc herniation. This procedure does not cure the disc, but remove the sequestered material. In case the rupture in the disc anulus is large, some surgeons prefer to remove larger parts of the disc to avoid reherniation. The chance of reherniation is in the low percent range. Efforts to close the disc - which would anyway follow a removal of the sequester - show, to my best knowledge, varying results. Another alternative might be to mechanically fix the spine, e.g. using screws. The invasiveness and loss of mobility should be carefully considered by the patient and the clinician. Endoscopic procedures might help to overcome these drawbacks and maintain mobility. Please consult with your local clinican.
@@RIWOspine This is not medically accurate and is legally risky. The chance of reherniation has been looked at in multiple studies and is quite high. The risk of serious and life-changing complications is significant
Dear Basil Alahmar, in all surgical procedures to remove the sequester of a herniated disc, there is a low risk of a reherniation. The incidence is similar accross current standard procedures. Depending on symptoms and diagnosis, a second surgery might be neccessary. There is a lot of literature on this topic and results vary slightly from study to study - in the low one digit percent range. I recommend to consult with your local surgeon.

Hello, we recommend to find endoscopic surgeon for a consultation and optionally further treatment.
Hi
what if we get second herniated disc.. can u help me to understand this..
The full-endoscopic technique is the least invasive approach. Any revision case at the same level can be treated with this technique.
My diffuse disc bulge problem
Please contact your endoscopy surgeon.
Sir how the puncture disc is recovered. If not sealed the nucleus will come out again
Where can we get this surgery? Location? And how much?
Please check where in your country endoscopic surgeon provides a service. Regards

What is possibility of the disc herniated again?
Dear Basil Alahmar, in all surgical procedures to remove the sequester of a herniated disc, there is a low risk of a reherniation. The incidence is similar accross current standard procedures. Depending on symptoms and diagnosis, a second surgery might be neccessary. There is a lot of literature on this topic and results vary slightly from study to study - in the low one digit percent range. I recommend to consult with your local surgeon.
