I owned a ruckus. Too much maintenance if you modify the motor. It’s carbureted and if you just want to ride and go without any issues, Monkey all the way. Best choice I made was the Monkey. Oh and don’t lower your Monkey anymore.. you’ll regret it. You’ll lose that control and lean for the twisties. 😉 My 2 cents. GREAT VIDEO!
Nice video. My wife has a 2022 Black Ruckus seat lowered and I have a 2020 Black Monkey and we ride near Palm Springs. Wife is quicker off the line! Still have my 68 Red Honda Mini Trail I got for xmas new in 68.
Most of the Honda monkeys are made in Thailand. There has been a 6-month waiting list in Thailand to get a Honda monkey. So they don't have very many that they can import to the US. 05:11
Maybe Honda should move their manufacturing plants somewhere else. I've been waiting for my D Project wheels for over a year now. Maybe things are just a lot more laid back in Thailand...
6 months isnt bad,I had waited 3years.just got mine in January. Bought an ADV150 till I got one.in Illinois, seems most monkeys get imported to chicago ,texas or Florida. Port cities.i am 90 Mike's south of Chicago. You have to go on line and fly out to get one.my dealer was lucky to get one a year
I ride a ruckus daily and 9 out of 10 bike riders give the wave same as any bike, harley biker gang looking guys don't wave to anyone lmao, but most people do wave back as they should!

What did you do for the kickstand length since you lowered the monkey?
