Amazing job! I love how she 'tiptoed' over the hurdles. She wasn't about to hurt herself doing something she clearly does not do. She totally wins the internet and at life.
In my mind, she wins not just for her patriotism, but because it is really really gutsy to do something that makes you uncomfortable on such a large stage. Moral of the story: _You never look silly when you’re doing the right thing for the right reasons._
This should have a million views. Parents should show this to their kids. Sometimes it’s not about you, and laugh as people may…..it made me smile out of respect for her and she did it with a smile on her face. Ya gotta wanna.

This highlights, for me, how impressive heptathlon and decathlon athletes are. To be great at many events instead of excelling at one or two. Also, taking one for the team was awesome here.
Actually Belgium was relegated to the second division finishing 14th behind Greece, but at the moment they couldn’t have known. I hope Zagré gets well soon.
Really like the idea that she went way out of her comfort zone for "the team" (which was not really even her own team). While she seems very slow, consider: 1. She managed to find a way to finish 2. How well would the other hurdlers in that race do at the shot putting?
Are you sure it wasn't Brian vs Lacy O'Neal in 1973 ? It was for 60 meters and he got her at the line. When he was done, he picked her up- threw her across his shoulder and walked away with her.
@@reneedaughter This was after '73, as I wasn't in the US then. At Mt Hood Community College in a pro track meet. I can't be sure who he ran against, but he did pick her up and throw her around a little. I'm pretty sure it was 100. It was outdoor.
Her reaction time was actualy quite impressive one of the first to start the run . Iam now wondering how one of the hurdle runners would do with in the shot-put .
She is so beautiful, she deserves to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated, but Jordan Peterson wouldn't like it, because she is not beautiful in his estimation.
Buck up and tip-toe over those hurdles like a true team mate! Good woman! I am so short, I would have had to tip it over a bit, then tip it back on the other side.
Naw. Schnookums. Given this woman could probably snap you like a twig, I'm surprised one of you backbirth rednecks hasn't already suggested she IS a man. Usually anyone better than you at anything (I.e. almost everyone) must be a man so your pathetic ego stays intact.

yes! this!
she also wanted to make sure she stayed perfectly in her lane to get the point she was going for and not risk beign disqualified!
She got a PB in the hurdles at the European Championships. No athlete can do better than that! Bravo!
I applaud👏👏👏👏 this woman for doing it for the team, that's what it's all about
yes!
She's a winner in my book. Kudos to her.
Time 32.61 sec Was Extreme Mode !
She is the greatest. The greatest heart. People with the heart like yours made the world a better place to live. Much luv.

100000% support for this athlete. She could teach the WORLD about team work.
Now I want to see a hurdler competing in the shotput
More than likely the hurdler will destroy her shoulder.
I think pole vault looks like the hardest event
you are mischievous
👍👍👍👍👍
@andrewkent4519 Anna Hall competes in both and more. ua-cam.com/video/IHZjae7v3A4/v-deo.html
She’s so tall that she just stepped over the hurdles. Love it!
Congratulations on a brilliant unselfish act, what a hero! You go girl 👏👏👏
As much as I laud her for doing this, and I do, still I would hope every other athlete would do the same for their team in need.
she is just beautiful n her heart and a smile that glowed like the Sun.. well done Joileen you showed what 'team" means
Good on her, she's pretty much at the top of her game in shot-put so still an athlete by all means.
Tears... this is what sportsmanship looks like!
This should have a million views. Parents should show this to their kids. Sometimes it’s not about you, and laugh as people may…..it made me smile out of respect for her and she did it with a smile on her face. Ya gotta wanna.
What a cutie pie 🥰 and a great teammate! 🇧🇪 ❤️🇧🇪
Do 0.100 reaction starting time using Gun ?
I admire these kinds of people.. even if you don't know what you're doing.. at least you're doing your best to finish that tasks
Legend, fair play to her. Ya gotta love the Aussies. Short-arse live on tv and no apologies made
She's from Belgium

There’s no I in TEAM, but there’s certainly BOOM in Boumkwo. That’s what you call a teammate!
You have to love her for her team spirit. Get em, girl.
This highlights, for me, how impressive heptathlon and decathlon athletes are. To be great at many events instead of excelling at one or two. Also, taking one for the team was awesome here.
What a good sport!!!! Definitely a team player!! 👍👍
She’s awesome! That’s what a team player does.
People will remember her effort for years to come. Regards
I like her warm up dance borrowed from 2012.
Look at it this way: she's the fastest shotputting-hurdler in history.
she is a brilliant star and the woman that I want my teenage daughter to be like. Jolien is simply put a Goddess
Actually Belgium was relegated to the second division finishing 14th behind Greece, but at the moment they couldn’t have known. I hope Zagré gets well soon.
Now; that's the TRUE meaning of "taking one for the TEAM"🌹
😌
She should get a Belgian honour for this.
Turn around and look ladies, that's a woman that truly knows team work
Love that the others gave her high fives and handshakes at the end.
Amazing team spirit!
Best teammate EVER!!
My personal vote for team athlete of the decade, Bravo Jolien!
Someone updated her wiki page it says Sport: Athletics Events: shot put, hammer throw, 100m hurdles 😂
A deadset legend
She did way better than I would've 😂😂😂
Signs of a great teammate!

I did hurdles in high school. I can tell if you if I ever attempted shot put, I would be shocked if I could even make one foot.
Brilliant team work x
Haha, the other ladies look tiny next to her! Well done, true team spirit
I saw shotputter Brian Oldfield, a giant of a man, run the 100 against top woman sprinter Wyoma Tyus. He beat her! This was in 1975 or thereabouts.
Are you sure it wasn't Brian vs Lacy O'Neal in 1973 ? It was for 60 meters and he got her at the line. When he was done, he picked her up- threw her across his shoulder and walked away with her.

Way to take one for the team. Good on you.
tres grand respect a cette dame
I hope she gets a massive sponsorship
Sportsmanship she's lovely :D

Rock star! Good for her 🥰
Well done!
For the team 👍👍👍
Did I laugh? Yes.
Did I think it was fucking awesome, also yes 😎🤘🏼
That's what u call team work
I had goosebumps watching this video.
Respect
Should show this to the USA womens football team
so there was only her and another person representing the team.. no other runner on their team could do this instead?
WOW, THATS AWESOME...I SALUTE HER...DEFINITION OF I MAY NOT BE GOOD AT IT, BUT I CAN DO IT 👍🏽👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Great thing she did for her team, her Country
Merci Jolien... C'était super de ta part
My new hero.
Amazing!
That is courage❤❤❤
She has the rhythm.
Legend

Sometimes engouraging thinks don't need much to do...
Great spirit
luckily most throwers are tall, and the women's hurdles are 6" lower then the men's. I have had to step over hurdles at times when I got tired...
Now I want to see those sprinters do the shot put
multi-eventers like hep, pent and decathletes do, and are good at them all...
So cool!
awesomeness
...then she threw the opposing team across the field. 😊
❤ 🇧🇪
Goed gedaan Jolien!
She should have identified as Usain Bolt
Maybe somebody could show this to meggy rappy so she could see what representing your country actually looks like. High praise goes to Jolien.
Look at smile!! 😁 and she beat my time 🤷🏾♂️ God bless
Points mean prizes
Buck up and tip-toe over those hurdles like a true team mate! Good woman! I am so short, I would have had to tip it over a bit, then tip it back on the other side.
imagine if she actually beat them 👀
Awesome.
All HEART!!!
A real badass! Love it.
Fantastic ❤
At least they didnt have to compete with men

Maybe she could enter the heptathlon
That’s awesome
She's also gorgeous 😊
❤❤
She’s got some long legs. 💪
She can patricipate in the whalehatlon 😂😂😂😂
😂
It's crazy people are supporting this obese Black woman as if she's doing something productive.
She's an Olympian athlete dumb ass.
Good on ya for using word teams’man’ship in this woke world 🤔🤔🤔
Awesome I love it
Yaaaaaa 👏 I love it
100
