This is how I transplant Astrophytum seedlings.

These are Astrophytum hybrid seedlings which I have grown from seeds. You can see that the group has varieties of types - nudum, kikko and superkabuto. It is important to prepare a quite porous medium for seedlings as I water them almost 3-4 times a week. (The spots where I put them dry the medium quickly). By the way, I forgot to record the part when I sowed the seeds. Maybe I will make a video on how to start Astrophytum from seeds next time. XOXO.

Hi, I trim the roots because excessive roots tend to rot and dry off during the period of adjustment after repotting. Also, by reducing the size of tap roots for Astrophytum, it will promote the production of healthy hair roots

It is warm in Malaysia. The soil dries easily. So I normally water the seedlings right after I plant them.

Lepas tu siram macam mana, using spray bottle ke siram cam biasa

Wait for at least 4 days before watering. Siram macam biasa. Saya elak spray kaktus especially yg berbulu sebab tak mau lembab. Takut kena kulat.
