I live in Charleston, South Carolina and I have both tropicals and succulents...I had to recently trim my beautiful green tunnel of scuppernong vines leading to my entrance way because it became too impractical and somewhat hazardous...love your channel...thanks again for another enchanting and informative video...

That weird cactus looks like mother of a thousand plant, it will drop those little plantlets on the side,and they become new plants.The euphoria trigonia definitely will grow into a tree/shrub.😊
The moon snake and Siam silver are my favorite! I have a loley old moon snake but I can only find a $90 8” pot of the Siam silver and I just can’t afford it. You could replace a roller shade with shade cloth and mount it on the end and hook it open on the frame when you want to cover it.
@@onlyplants Don't expect the barrels to grow very fast. I got one 3 years ago and I swear its only doubled in size in that time. Barrels love hot hot sun, 100 degrees plus and they'll grow quicker.

ever thought of placing your dessert scape right at the front too? there are big varieties you have on the stairway you made they grow beautifully tall and wide like the agave etc. though i like your foliage from previous i also like this clean minimalist look you just made. inspired me to convert my lanai too :) thanks once again for a wonderful video
Thank you. I havent figured out the stairway actually… my budget is stretched thin for now haha. Also I needed some space to rehab plants for the back garden at the stairways for now. We should see some tranformations through the years

congrats on finally jumping in to the wonders of succulent plants 🎊 you’ll get your ariocarpus one day once you master all other cacti and the patience to take care of ‘em. ‘pasir malang’ is called scoria in english, also colloquially called ‘lava rocks’ or in this case ‘coarse lava sand’. also a tip from cactus veterans: when in doubt, don’t water!
Beautiful transformation! I’m inspired to start a desertscape myself. Will you be planting the fishbone cactus? It’s like a spiller, stunning, grows whatever direction it wants and so easy to grow. Literally stick it in soil and it’ll just grow.
I love it. I love that u love all kinds of plants, not just tropical (I’m in Hawaii, tropical plants grow everywhere here). I also love sansevieria bc they are are so hardy and there is such a huge variety. Suggestion, instead of rails, maybe bury pole holders in the corners for a removable shade tent that u can put out in the sunny season.
It looks great! I loved the overgrown jungle vibe, but the scale of the new plant scape is perfect for the entrance. Maybe use the back entrance if you've been drinking to avoid being accidentally impaled, lol.

Haha I have some propagating away when its bigger I will style with it. But this area may have too much light for it though

Half of them actually dont but those that do can adapt quite well 😀 the media its in now dries up completely in less than an hour.
