As a resident of Meru County, I have personally witnessed the significant strides our county has made under the governor's leadership. Even the budget controller has commended Meru County for its stellar performance. It is unfortunate that instead of supporting and building on these achievements, these MCAs have chosen a path of obstruction and pettiness. History will remember them not as leaders who uplifted their community, but as those who stood in the way of progress.
Coz the Governor is doing things illegally and people are trooping to courts suing the county. Those come with huge legal fees, coz County's have the tendency of hiring external lawyers instead of using the offices of County Attorneys. It's a money minting loophole for Governors - create as many stupid mistakes, make people run to court, engage external lawyers, collude to have them serve you with hefty legal fees, pay the fees, share the loot. Similar script to how Sony Sugar in Migori got grounded.

He causally mentions 800m in legal fees like anyone can believe such a figure.
