So far pretty bad, just 4 minutes in though. hoping it gets better... have always been suspicious of cause and effect, and necessity and sufficience, and also contigency and necessity.
So, he died lonely. Now let's talk about his five methods. LOL. This sort of content is a welcome addition to your other content. Obviously, it won't be as popular as your other stuff, but it will serve as a reference for those of us who are interested. The diagrams are greatly appreciated.
@@DigitalGnosis sounds promising! On a sidenote: Do you think you could get Joel David Hamkins on, to interview him about philosophy of mathematics. Matt McCormick would be also interesting in an interview about atheism and philosophy of religion.
I was told by an environmental health officer that food poisoning in restaurants is most commonly traced to the hand dryers in the bathrooms which is why I always use the paper towel!
Probably depends on what kind it is. If it's one that activates using a button that's probably the most risky version as everyone is touching it to activate it. If air dryers didn't exist food poisoning would probably be traced to the sinks that have manual controls.
It because the toilet aerosolize bacteria which can be drawn into the dryer which is nice and warm for bacteria to grow, when the dryer is activated they blow bacteria on to your hands. The internal part of the dryer is not easily cleaned. And you are contaminated after the cleaning of your hands so are unlikely to then remove them.
As a grad student (chemistry) when ever we had a professor visit to talk about their research, almost with out fail one of our faculty would ask "but what is the mechanism" maybe that is what we need to ask the apologists?
I had a friend who got a batchelors and masters in philosophy, it's main value seems to have been in the ability for him to justify why cheating on girlfriends was acceptable. They were all obviously not sufficiently versed in philosophy because they never agreed.
This is a new format - let me know if you want to see more videos like this

I hope there're counter arguments for these categories.

Nice! Logic and Math stuff is greatly appreciated
Thinking of doing similar videos on a few topics (potentially)

@@mathewperring you guys are better at establishing a mechanism rather than a cause, which is a million times better.
The rain stuff also can be _better_ thought of in terms of a _mechanism_ rather than a sufficient conditions, causes or such things.

I thought you were getting tired of philosophy? Did something change?
Yeah - Decided to do an MSc in non-philosophy, took the edge off phil
@@DigitalGnosis Well I'm glad to hear that philosophy is more enjoyable for you now :)
