Yeah, the folder on the updated version doesn't go silent at minimum, it's just a little bit warmer than the main output. But you can use negative voltage into the fold CV to quiet it, if you want to use the wavefolder-as-VCA trick.
One way I like to use the chord mode is set it to unison (or octave or suboctave), set detune to 0 but assign it to mod B, and modulate it at audio rate (either from osc 2 or the pulse output). It stays a little more solid than just using a constant detune amount and you can push the overdrive. Or leave detune at 0 but modulate overdrive from osc 2.

Wild! I've got to try that preset morphing. Free tip: Try a tiny smidge of post-filter feedback into MOD A controlling phase modulation if you're looking for more organic distortion.

just so you know the origional basic setting the unquantized setting off the bat on the first firmware was the sound coil used (probably an emu sampler) going all over the place on loves secret domain the opening of teenage lightning.😢i felt like i broke when i upgraded but you can still find it.
it was the ratio and fm it may have been quantized its there on make your first patch from intelligel
Nice! I agree more in depth modules are great.. you can watch a video 5 years later and realize you dont even use half of what it can do :P
You probably know, in preset mode you can randomize all values by pressing combo mode + morph. Love this module

Its kinda relief that you dont really know what you"re doing:))) At least to extend of what I know. That its about how to use it and let it have its own mind in the setup while turning the knobs. I have it for some years already and "sync modes" of oscillators - what it does? no idea. "Comb modes"? no idea. "Mod A" options? little idea. All I know is that it drastically changes the sound. lol. I guess I have to change the attitude. And use it primarilly for percussions maybe?. The thing is that one day I created the most beautiful gnarly morphing bass drone (Shapeshifter shaping the behringer neutron) that I just have no idea how to recreate it. Well... fuck me.) And lets use it some more I guess. That thing is too deep to comprehend.
