I got this very cheap Amazon brush set for 8.99 from BS mall. You would think they would be horrible but they're so soft and blend so beautifully. There's so good in cheap that when my dog destroyed some of them I bought a whole new set
When you find that one perfect brush to do that one thing, it's hard to want to use anything else. I am also guilty of having multiples of the ones I really like. I wash mine after every use (not like, every day., I am also not a masochist) so I keep extras of my faves that I can rotate in when their twins are waiting for a bath. I also love a good "clicky" look!
My lunch break was too short, so I ran out of time to comment about my favorite brushes. I might later tonight. BUT...I did want to comment about a couple of brush sales happening right now in case people are wanting to do some brush shopping. Moda has their Renew brush sets 50% off this weekend to celebrate Earth Day, and your code (GLITTERFALLOUT for anyone who doesn't know it) stacks on top. Bdellium Tools is also having an amazing sale on their bamboo line. You can get 70% off using the code EARTH70 (already discounted items are excluded), making their 22-piece brush set $53 and most of their eye brushes end up being around $3. I really like the Bdellium Tools brushes I have and already placed a big order. I might even go back and place a second one because the deal is just so good and I have no self control. 😂For anyone who likes smaller brushes, their 772 Small Shader is a great little brush for packing color onto the lids. In case someone is new to the brand and it isn't immediately obvious, the pink bamboo brushes are full size and the green ones are travel size (the brush heads are the same size but the handles are shorter).
Ooh. I've never heard of Bdellium tools. I think I've heard of Moda, but I don't hear many ppl talk about them. Glad to learn a couple of new brands. Sigma is having their Anniversary sale too (40% off sitewide).
@@ac2055, Sigma's already gotten me a couple of times recently with sales leading up to their anniversary sale, so I'm trying to be strong and not order from them again (especially since I placed two Bdellium orders during their sale). I might cave though. They've been doing some one-day deals that have been tempting.
Good morning, sunshine 🌞 I'm so excited to watch this and hear what your favorites are! Besides eyeshadow palettes, makeup brushes are the next item in my collection I have a ton of! 😂 I hope you have an amazing day 😊💙💜🩷🤎💛🧡💚
I was JUST thinking the other day that some of my brushes were starting to age, and actually wondered if you had any new recommendations! Thank you for reading my mind. :D
So I have decently long nails and need a brush to pat shadows on my eyeball. If you want a brush for metallic and glitter eyeshadows that is an absolute game changer and I literally could not live without, pick up a Smith Cosmetics 253! I cannot express enough how much I love this brush.
Thanks for sharing your favorite brushes, I am slowly building a collection so I can have good brushes that will last, and be able to use for all the different applications and uses.
While I have heard good things about them, they are all made out of natural bristles as opposed to synthetic, so I don’t personally consider them to be cruelty free.
I love this video. I'm just beginning to expand my brushes & just got my first "nice" brushes. Thanks Linda! Your eyeshadow is beautiful! So pretty for a neutral look.
I wanted the Wayne Goss 08 push liner brush but it was $17 plus shipping to the US, now I can't find it anywhere, the omnia looks close and is under $8 , I might have to try it
I am also guilty of having multiples of my favourite brushes! Having good tools is important, and it is an essential part of the makeup application experience. I've been curious about the BK Beauty brushes for a while, so I may need to just take a deep breath and go for it sometime soon.
Yesss thank you for this, I was just looking at my crusty and dirty old boxycharm brushes thinking I should probably buy some new ones that don't shed all over my face🥴 so overwhelming trying to pick out all new brushes though so this is super helpful! You should do a brush cleaning tutorial or segment in a vlog if you haven't already!😍
I absolutely love makeup brushes i have alot 😂 Rephr brushes are amazing especially the eye brushes they totally changed my eyeshadow game. BK beauty brushes are fantastic especially the 101, A506, 109. The IT cosmetics no7 is amazing i have other ones but that is the stand out for me. I do really like Fude brushes like Rephr as i mentioned, love Sonia G, Chikuhodo, Koyudo. I've just ordered the Singe brush set as well. I really like Zoeva brushes aswell 😊
Tbh, i can't remember the last time I bought a makeup brush. I just use what I get from boxycharm or ipsy. But I did find a few I want to get (liner and highlighter). Thanks for the recommendations :)
Does anyone know where to find a domed actual sponge tip regular sized brush? Not the flat sponge style that used to come with every drugstore product, but an actual little dome. Mine is almost dead lol, and I have a lovely regular bristle brush that is 99% the same, but the sponge just packs the deepest little "boop" of my darkest shade into my fake (lifted) outer corner & I need it lol! I've looked all over the internet and at every store...but I live in underpopulated montana so our stores carry less variety of products in the beauty aisle. Also, just an unrelated PSA: if you are pro equality and want to live a nature-forward lifestyle, we need you, please move here!!!
I don’t know if they sell them individually or just as sets, but MŌDA’s “Master Pro” line (black handles with blue ferrules) has a couple of domed sponge tip brushes! They’re super handy. Plus Linda has an affiliate link and a discount code with them. 💙
so happy you are enjoying your Singe brushes! 🥰

Your makeup is so freaking flattering today I can't stop looking at your eyeshadow! The colors are made for youuu ❤
The Luxie 512 is such a hero!!! I use it for cream blush ♥️

Bah! I just realized they’re not cruelty free 🤦♀️
Loving ur eye look. Beautiful
I just got the 660 luxie brush and now after hearing what you mentioned I now have a purpose for it 😍.
Thanks for sharing your favorite brushes, I am slowly building a collection so I can have good brushes that will last, and be able to use for all the different applications and uses.
I’m a makeup brush snob 😅 If you want to try Japanese brushes, Rephr their brushes are 40% off so they are really affordable at this moment.

I had the It Cosmestics #7 in my Sephora VIB cart but didn't go for it. Another UA-camr loves it for blush as well. May have to go for it now!
I’ve never used brand named brushes, but someday maybe…
Personally enjoy seeing videos about brushes because I don’t always know what to use where!
I need to sort my brushes cos I use the same 5 over and over and have over 20.
Do you still use Moda brushes?
Absolutely! I mention MODA/Royal and Langnickel several times in this video. ☺️
