This is the only anime that I've watched that perfectly mixes ecchi with comedy. The ecchiness of the show never felt unnecessary or badly placed because those shots were a comedic tool in themselves. The amount of ridiculous angles and shots that we saw from like between the vice president's legs or boobs were so incredibly obvious and over the top that those shots in particular added to the comedy of the show. It's like the creator was trying to come up with the most stupid ways of portraying a scenario using ecchi to imbue comedy into a scene that's not inherently funny. Say what you will about Prison School but I find that being able to mix two genres like that perfectly deserves high praise. That's right, I'm saying that Prison School is a masterpiece.
Prison School is really the only thing with really good DRAMA, along with all of the comedy and fanservice/ecchi-ness, Prison School "catches" you immediately, and you stay totally "hooked" with every single episode.
Proper Anime same man, if I’m honest I don’t rate konosuba but prison school and grand blue are my two favourite comedy anime, grand blue being my favourite though
@@taylor099c8 yes!! Grand blue is great and the slice of life in it is actually really wholesome like when Iori went to the aquarium and saw the underwater life, it was great and the show is hilarious
Fun Fact: the OVA is in the continuation of the manga and it's hilarious just saying 😁. In the manga, the president is one of my favorite characters and the orange haired girl is evil but I'm not done with the manga. In the manga we also get to see the girls in prison.

I literally feel bad for Hana at the end, and strongly felt they should have another chance and at the end befriends with the protagonists.
Just letting y'all know the manga has tons of chapters left, there's a ton of content focusing more on the former student council and the new student council. The rest of Prison School story changes in some really unexpected ways. I enjoyed it

In the manga, she is called a "rube goldberg girl", as her running gag is basically making events (mostly unfortunate) happen in quick succession, much like a rube goldberg machine.

Chiyo got nothing on Kiyoshi, dump her and knock up Hana... damn... that's a sexy imagine... pregnant Hana... laughs... ach... what've I've done, I can't get out of my mind now, laughs...

the USC being in prison is a really big arc (multiple ones in fact), it wouldn't fit in a single OVA, so i guess that's why it wasn't explored.
Prison School can get a Season 2 but that probably not happening.
