I can imagine an epic cutscene where Modern Sonic teaches Classic Sonic how to boost. And it transitions to gameplay where they're both boosting through the city at high speeds, blasting though enemies, and dodging lazers while Modern Sonic is teaching him the basics and telling him to keep up.. Why didn't Sega innovate this in Forces? That would've been epic! 🤦♂️

Crashmania 468 As a Classic Sonic fan, I would have been totally up for this idea. With Mania already having been released earlier in the year for our dose of pure Classic Sonic, integrating the boost system in his gameplay for Forces would have made for a cool experience and not make his presence in the game seem more superfluous than anything.
Tl;dr I'm a Classic Sonic fan and would have been on board with this concept
yes but there are some people (the toxic fans) that would still be angry and sega will hear them as usually and they will change their games making them worse

The Jason Griffith High Pitched Voice fits Classic Sonic Perfectly, yet it makes me Giggle.
I personally prefer mute Classic Sonic over high-pitched voice Classic Sonic.

Nilo Apparently, Sega contacted Jaleel White (the voice of Sonic from AoStH/SatAm), but he either turned down the offer or never responded. It’s a shame, I would’ve loved some 90s-style Classic Sonic snark. On a separate note, I like the higher pitched voice for Classic, I wouldn’t mind if they used that instead of him being mute.

I remember at the ending of sonic generations, modern sonic *trys* to teach classic sonic how to homing attack, if classic learned how to homing attack, it would be amazing in forces, and if another scene was added, i could imagine that he teaches classic to boost and stomp or quickstep, if he learned all of these tricks, he would be good in forces, and in another classic and modern sonic game, it actually is epic
anyone agree? Its kinda cool to update generations forces and adding all the modern skills to classic, wouldn’t be that *awesome?*
Anyways, my fav game is sonic generations, i want these updates also adding the 3d camera on classic.

I think Unleashed, and not Generations, rooftop run is the best song of Sega, but Jungle Joyride and skyscraper scamper also have amazing soundtracks, its a really tough choice.
Name Surname all generations did was bring back old worlds but I love them for it. To see a fresh escape from the city stage and the first stage from Sonic heroes felt really good. Also to play planet wisp again

As a mod, this is fine. But if Sonic Team did this in a legitimate, canon Sonic game they would see no end of backlash. Heh, still remember how upset people were with the fact that you could equip Homing Attack skill to Classic Sonic in Generations.
