Bless your heart for making me ssssooo happy with this most wonderful story! I think this must be the tale of St. George Harrison & Marc Bolan's Futuristic Dragon! Cheers😎
Wish to see you indeed. Give Hi to your kens wishin' to see the blue ant... My lovely moskitoos bid me some .... Sorry...I'm not all in tact... Let's say medication...My name is Wael Noor Eldin ... or so for now... My lit name is بينام ساية رست. Wish you all. all the best.
This is a delightful story. Loved it when all the villagers went 'UUGGH'. And what became of the princess tied to a rock? Oh well. But what of the meaning of dragon myths? Well clearly St. George is the hero,(the hero with a thousand faces, as Jo Campbell would have it.) And the hero always must fight against his own weaknesses, fear and favour. Body weakness and cowardly behaviour against his spiritual nobility and high moral values. And the villagers, weak spineless and morally depraved. They can go either way and will follow whoever wins. And quite happily. They bet and if their bet comes good, they are of course extremely gay. If not, well they still have the great excitement of grief and despair. Great distraction from their boring existence and therefore welcome. But who is the dragon and what part does he play in our modern life. If science has killed all the old legends then surely there can be no dragons hiding where we have not yet looked? But have you looked inside yourself? 'The kingdom of heaven is within you' Issa said. The dragon is the coiled spiritual energy at the base of your spine. Waiting to rise up and reveal your own heavenly state. Terrible and savage, it kindly ripps away your false thinking that this present world is real.
