One thing that has helped me push back my first meal of the day is by drinking black coffee. This way my insulin doesn't spike and I'm still in a fasted state. And it blunts my appetite!

By “finding yourself” do you mean finding what foods you like/dislike? I think keeping it simple is great to find foods that aren’t compatible with your body
