@@voidkitten1541 we can't draw any thing good with just a crayon we have grown up and started to use different products and we were kid like 5 or 6 yr old when we like to make drawing with crayon and now we have started making better art with color pencils and skech pens we can't make a better art with crayons.

Hi! Toned paper also works very well. It may just give a slightly different color tone. But I am unsure of how it will turn out when applying the base layer with a highlighter/marker as some of my tutorials suggest.
