I like the mechanic of the building cubes being laid out from the beginning but you can only take ones from the ends. Pretty simple way to be able to strategize far ahead but limit what’s available at any time.
This game is so evil. I love it. We had a few games where I wasn't able to get a single company for myself so I ended up screwing up everyone else making it so they had negative points and I was the only one with positive.
This series goes so fast it does need more demo of turn decisions and options, like just showing a quick run through of player 1 good becca -> player two evil becca -> end turn -> end game would fill in some gaps.
I'd try it.. it seems like a relatively nice balance between basic rules and deeper strategy. The theme is a hint boring, but the auctioning could make the player interaction pretty fun anyway. I'll have to check out the play through when it comes out.
Dear god, how evil people are, building homes for people to live in and *Gasp* getting paid for their work! How dare they! Doesn't it get a little tired calling anyone with business acumen evil? Successful people are good for the country not bad.
SpydersByte Not sensitive in the way that you mean. I didn’t spend my day triggered or seething about it. But I am sensitive to the overwhelming trend in the entertainment industry that pushes far left, socialist opinions, and yes sometimes with humor. I feel strongly that it is a destructive trend and believe the only way to persuade people is to say something. No persuasion has ever been accomplished by a silent party keeping their head down. I also think it is good to remind the creators of the content that they do not exist in an echo chamber and that there are conservative people that consume media as well.
Ah yes, successful people are so great for the country. That's why they hoard their wealth to collect interest instead of pumping it back into the economy. That's why they hire people at minimum wage who can barely afford rent and other essentials and so have no disposable income to pump back into the economy. Developers do not build affordable housing for people to live in, they build luxury apartments in inner city or "up-and-coming" areas that the working class can't afford. Here in Sydney Australia we are facing serious congestion issues on our roads and public transport system because of overdevelopment in high-valued areas. Gentrification pushes out those who have been living in an area for a long time but can no longer afford it. Ordinarily we would rely on the government to subsidise and lead the way in affordable housing but at least in Australia they won't oblige us that, either.

I see Becca Scott, I press like.
I enjoy your walkthrough of the board games. Need to do that on my actual play channel.
