@@grandemoonlight8208 no she cannot. She struggles performing beginner tricks such as the ollie and the shove it. If your definition of skating is just being able to roll on a board for some meters then I guess she can skate.

@@user-ge7on7kv9o The thing is after 20 years of on and off skating I can honestly say without any shadow of a doubt that progression is not a linear thing across the board. I know people who got tre-flips on lock who can't fucking shove-it, but they can pop shove-it okay.
I know a guy who prefers to bomb hills switch. This guy cannot frontside 180. Backside no problem.
There was this influencer girl on Nine Club who said she could tre-flip before she could ollie. That's fucking nuts.
Skating is so fucked up in general that people progress when they have the most fun. There's nothing worse than being able to ollie down a small 5 stairs but feeling forced to practice a trick you hate like regular shoveits because you feel like you're supposed to.
I was myself terrified of practicing Boneless tricks because my thumb is prone to bending back so taking my front foot off while reaching down gave me cold sweats but I was practicing rolling kickflips eating shit all day long until I landed them.
This is why now it's hard for me to judge someone's skill on a board according to the "normal" progression everyone expects. I've seen way too many people "skipping steps" and still ripping.
This is not like yo Avril is the greatest skater, obviously she can barely push, but being able to do a certain trick to me isn't really an indicator of a person's skill no matter how basic the trick is.
Also, I fully remember seeing a vid of her ollieing up a curb. Shove-its won't get you up that curb, so in the end shove-its don't really matter that much (or at all really) until you start doing fakie and nollie shit. Trying to learn shove-its as your second trick after the ollie is a waste of time if you don't like them. You're better off trying 180s and getting your switch on.
