Thanks for the review, Steve. The book sounds fab, but I do have one or two questions. Obviously you need to buy the materials and do some DIY if you want to do the routines. Are the materials easy to purchase and on average is the DIY time consuming and fiddly or pretty easy to do? I take it this is likely to vary for each routine/trick. How many of the tricks/routines do you think would be suitable for children? Thinking of the trick involving a modelling balloon and the nun's bonnet/hat trick.
Loved the book and certainly off beat! However, if anyone can help me with his slip knot explanation in the first rope trick I would be over the moon. I have tried, tried, re-tried, messaged Nick and tried again and still can not get the move? Probably just me but any guidance greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Ok, please stop! Your enthusiasm for this book and others, and all the books that are on your library shelves behind you now mean that this book has gone on my "must buy" list. 😁😲😳
You think Bill Malone is funny ? Great magician but I don’t find those out dated lines funny. Good genuine interactions with spectators granted but I don’t include his crass invitations to the ladies in that department. Mr Diffate is funny. Mr Malone tells jokes.
No I agree: but he’s funny for different reasons too. I presume he’s dropped a lot of those lines now. But for me, he has funny bones and great timing.

Love your relaxed style Steve. Great review.
An absolutely excellent book. Such an easy read and full of inspiration.
Love Nick Diffatte's material and thinking about comedy. He is quite talented for sure
This book wasn’t my style of magic but I loved it. It’s a fun book.

Was curious it there is any mention of trick Nick does called The Texas Card trick he does in this book maybe by another name its state prediction

Precious Bodily Fluids. And Will Met Again song at end as bombs drop Dr Stange Love. Think it is a musical hall song during the Blizz
Ah yes! It’s been so many years. I must revisit!

fair enough. I'm not everyone's cup of tea either @@RealMagicReview
Diffart isn't funny and his magic is weak.
