- In this video you will learn how to make a wire loop on top of a side-drilled hole bead. This loop will allow you to connect this type of bead and pendant to your beadwork. You can choose to make a simple wire loop or a wrapped wire loop on top. For supplies, please visit Beadaholique.com beadaholique.com/
Such a clear explanation! I’ve been avoiding the side drilled beads in my stash. Not anymore! Thanks Julie. 😊
Me too! Did my own thing until now!
I am so glad this video helped! I have been trying to find an easy solution for side drilled beads for awhile so I was really happy when this worked out.
Oh my gosh, I wish I'd seen this yesterday! Wore my hands out yesterday. Thank you Thank you! My daughter in laws earrings will look good now, instead of the mess I made. 🙋💙✝️🇺🇲
Perfect timing!! I just got some gorgeous teardrop crystal AB beads that are top-drilled and I'm getting ready to start a new pair of earrings and necklace set. This is the exact tutorial I need to do that!! Were you reading my mind??? Lol 😄
Wonderful!
Thank you for sharing this with us. 😊
Thanks for the demo. I crush more beads trying to make this loop. After watching this, I think it is because I make the loops too small. Again, thanks!
Hi! That definitely could be. I hope a little larger loop helps.
What a great tip! ❤
Thanks Deb!
Thx
Julie, does it make a difference if you use twisted wire, could you do a video if needed. Thank you.
Hi! If the twisted wire you are using can easily slip through the bead hole, you should be fine. It needs to be thin enough to go through the hole but strong enough to hold its shape like the 22 gauge shown in the video. I can definitely add it to the video request list.
Thank you, Julie! You’re an excellent teacher!❤
Thank you so much!
THANK YOU FOR THIS TUTORIAL.
You are very welcome!
