Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera VS Ferrari 430 Scuderia
Вставка
- Опубліковано 24 вер 2024
- In the late 2000s Ferrari and Lamborghini launched special editions of their F430 and Gallardo. Meant to be lightweight, more track focused, and produced in only limited numbers, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia and Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera are certainly special cars that are incredible to drive. We just happened to be fortunate enough to have both in our dealership at the same time. So it provided the perfect opportunity to really give both a comparison and review.

#lamborghini #ferrari #review
I've been working in the area for just over 15 years, and I've had the opportunity to drive both cars several times. I love the Superleggera, but even a normal 430 is better in every way and more fun. The Scuderia is on another level!
Agreed.
The Scud ALL DAY LONGGG! My opinion on why a Lamborghini doesn’t hold its value as well as a Ferrari can be summed up in one word: Audi! Great video Dan!
Lol yup
A cool thing that people may have forgotten about is on Top Gear, Jeremy actually drove a factory gated manual 1st gen Superleggera as part of finding the perfect driving road in Europe (Richard was in a GT3RS manual, and James was in an Aston Martin race car), and it looked similar to the one in this video although with the small wing (which I also think is less common, even the exact car he drove doesn't have it anymore and got swapped to the big wing).
Ah nice!
Very informative video. Now I know why I don’t want to be a software engineer anymore. I admire your career change!
It's fun but tough. :)
LOL! The Scud is so fast the parts fly out of the dash 🤣🤣
lol "get in gear now!" great comparison review
OH yea!
You didn't mention, but it should add value is that a former member of the ZZ Top tribute band owned the Super G. 🤣
LOL!!!
Loved this video while doing my 30 minutes on the treadmill! I would personally take the Gallardo, solely on price. But both awesome cars! Thank you Dan!!
Good choice!
there were 2,590 scuds (541 for USA) made and 698 16Ms (225 for USA)
You mean 430s?
@@ashishpatel350 no, there were over 15,000 total 430s produced. 1,288 CS and 2.590 scuds
Hmm, you may be right. Ferrari isn't exactly transparent with their production numbers.
It's simply because of that gearbox in the Scud, its value is 2x that of the Mk1 Superleggera. The difference in values between the Superleggera and Scuderia definitely reflects in their drive and also Audi parts doesn't help the Superleggera's case.
Agreed. The SF2 is outstanding.
Lamborghini has too many editions; Superleggera, Supervolce, Super Torfeo,Performonte, Balboni, ect. Great tactic for new sales, but dilutes them over time. Ferrari does a better job with a simpler, clearer history of the performance editions. The V10 Lambo line is also diluted heavily by the R8 even today.
That's true. It is confusing to have soo many versions.
is that the same Super G that you had for sale like a year ago? Love them both but Super G might need to come to the collection!
It was a few years ago but yes.
@@normalguysupercar thanks! Love that spec!
Scud is dynamically way better than lambo during this golden Ferrari Schmaucher era, but the lambo has its charm with the sound looks and brute power. Ironically lambo today is the better brand and being more purist, staying with big NA engines and staying true to the DNA while Ferrari is just clueless running hybrids and suvs and front engines etc. it’s feeding off its fantastic old cars but the new crap is diluting the brand slowly, best they can hope for is another f1 championship soon to claim they still got it. that’s why old lambo values are on the rise quick. I love everything about the super G, however just like murcies, the upkeep on the super G is much higher than the 430 platform (scarce parts, have a number of expensive issues like AC and engine esp on the pre lp)so that’s def a factor …while murcies have doubled and tripled the gallardo have been lagging for some reason.. but scud super G and 997 gt3rs are def a trio of future classics of that golden era of last of analogue cars
You aren't wrong about the modern cars. Although the latest lambo is disappointing.
The Gallardo Superleggera is a collectors car in these days. I wouldnt be tracking something as rare as this.
Doesn't reflect in its values.
Currently it's a bargain, I think it will appreciate in time.
Burger King vs Taco Bell
LOL!
Lambos are Audi
Ferrari is Ferrari
Ferrari is Fiat 😂
This is arguably some of the last of the lamborghini-ish lambos.
@@ashishpatel350 Not anymore. Btw you do know there's the R8, equivalent to the Gallardo and Huracan, which Fiat would be equivalent to 360/430/458/488?
I'd have to choose the Ferrari over the Lamborghini. As much as I admire the Lambo, for me, the Ferrari just provides all the compromises I'd want in a sports GT. I like the more refined styling and I'd prefer the ability to take long road trips. I'd probably never take it to the track. So the softer demeanor of the Ferrari would be more for me. I'd still prefer a manual over the single clutch auto...My TR6060 is just too terrific to give up....
Cannot like this as the pricing for the Scuderia is way off.
Beautiful cars, if money was no object it would be the Scud, although manual conversion to the Gallardo would be fun too. Prices of both are still stupid in Canada? 😢
Yeah
Dump truck…….lucky not a cracked windshield
perhaps
Seeing Dan behind that 6-dump got me itchy. I'd have turned on the first road I could to get away from it.
haha
soo anybody see that someone set ac to a nice temp!😂

Toyota Camry over all
Good move. Practical. Reliable. Cheap.
