    This talk is a re-recording of a talk given by David Chester to Louis Kauffman’s Quantum Topology seminary at the University of Illinois at Chicago on March 24th, 2022.
    Recent advances in AdS/CFT holography have found an analogue in discrete tensor networks of qubits. The {5,4} hyperbolic tiling allows for topological error correction. We review a simple 32 x 32 Hamiltonian from five maximally entangled physical qubits on the boundary edges of a pentagon, whose two-fold degenerate ground state leads to an emergent logical qubit in the bulk. The inflation rule of a holographic conformal quasicrystal is found to encode the holographic code rate that determines the ratio of logical qubits to physical qubits. Generalizing SU(2) qubits to twistors as conformal spinors of SU(2,2), an H3-symmetric 5-compound of cuboctahedral A3 = D3 root polytopes is outlined. Motivated by error correction in the Hamming code, the E8 lattice is projected to the H4-symmetric quasicrystal. The 4-dimensional 600-cell is found to contain five 24-cells associated with the D4 root polytope associated with Spin(4,4). Intersection with Sp(8,R) phase space identifies three generations of conformal symmetry with an axial U(1) symmetry. A lightning review of E8(-24) phenomenology with Spin(12,4) is pursued for gravity and the standard model with a notion of CDT-inspired discretized membranes in mind. Warm dark matter beyond the standard model is briefly articulated to stem from intersecting worldvolumes related to the Leech lattice associated with the Golay code, hinting at a monstrously supersymmetric M-theory in D=26+1. A new D=27+3 superalgebra is shown to contain membranes that can give a world volume description of M-theory and F-theory.

      So, there have already been some successful explorations into solving equations quickly by portraying quantum space as having a predictable geometric "face" (or facet. This was also in holography some years ago.) This is sort of going a bit deeper by suggesting that the interrelation of solutions is made easier on an even grander scale by pursuing not just one facet but an entire multi-faceted object (sort of like a gemstone) that exists as a crystalline structure with "tensor states" in the vertices of its lattice structure.

    A process of spherical symmetry forming and breaking will naturally form three-dimensional space with the spherical surface forming a boundary condition for the holographic principle. The inner concaved surface forms a manifold for negative charge and the outer surface forms a manifold for positive charge with the exchange of photon energy continuously forming a probabilistic uncertain future. 🎲🎲

    Aside from QGR, the only person I hear talking about polytopes and consciousness as fundamental reality is Donald Hoffman over the last 2 years since his latest book. Are QGR in contact with Hoffman? It would be great to see him in an interview with Klee where deep mathematics can be discussed but don’t have to be for the layperson. Exactly zero percent of anyone I mention this to has any idea what I’m talking about.

    It is very interesting reverse engineering from the nature designer. It always makes more than one theory. For example, quantum entanglement can be the starting point of two theories: quantum bond is beyond dimensions then does not involves time or it is spooky in higher dimensions, where time is not relevant. I do not know how holography explains quantum entanglement existence?

    isn't the overall point of qubits to be a varying degree of measure and set up a range between each that is minutely different than any qubit within its linear string? wouldn't these qubits be entangled to varying degrees as well? then the first qubit would have the highest probability of entanglement with the others and each branch would be a lesser degree of entanglement moving forward? meaning every entangled qubit would have less and less correlation to others on that same parallel. If there is error correction is it possible that the entangled state is what is correcting any qubit? Or maybe I'm way off. trying to keep up lol.

    • @chesterthinks
      @chesterthinks 2 роки тому +1

      As far as I understand, the idea is to make all of the qubits maximally entangled so it would be about the same everywhere.

    In the beginning of the vid, what about an atom-orbital qubit?
    If the electron orbital follows crystal symmetry, thus the atomic orbital in optical lattices a natural candidate to emulate electron orbitals by manipulating s- and d-orbitals of atomic Bose-Einstein condensation in an optical lattice.
    Making it a noise-resilient quantum gate operations. Achieved by performing holonomic quantum control, which admits geometrical protection, to eliminate the orbital leakage error in the system.

      @@chesterthinks" I understood that reference." I've been interested in the physics concept of quantum leap and the effects of potential energy exchange on mass. this makes so much sense to me.
      it seems obvious that as distance from mass increases so does the exchange from potential charge for other atoms and molecules. I guess my question would be what effect light has, and to what extent, on quantum leaps. especially after watching some old experiment on lights effect on electrical arching and the lumens created. I'm self teaching so I might be reading more into this conversation. definitely not as up on the terminology.

    @7:45 why are physics geeks using "emergence" jargon here? It is not emergence in the philosophical sense of _unexplained by the parts._ What you've got is compositionality, a concept a lot simpler than _genuine emergence_ as a philosophy geek would understand the latter jargon word. Help in the fight against obscurantist jargonization of physics y'all.

    • @bijousmith4231
      @bijousmith4231 6 місяців тому

      The fact that the "whole" system consisting of an entangled state is not well-described by separating parts, is not an example of emergence. It is an example of entanglement --- a very simple concept. It means there are no separate parts, rather an entangled state is connected. Just as you cannot explain the motion of a string of rope by telling a story only about one end (where the devil did that reflected wave come from? must be spooky spooks! lol.).
