I had never listened to NMIXX before, but I've been playing Run For Roses and some of their other songs like Break the Wall and O.O on repeat nonstop these last few days lmao. I think the cube represents the media which follows them everywhere and tries to capture every aspect of their lives as idols and they're trying to escape from that and live their relationship happily in private. But in the end it catches up with them and kills the relationship just like in real life idols break up their relationships because of the backlash that they get from "fans" on social media. About the camera, I think it kinda also represents how the fans see them only through the camera and see idols as perfect human beings when in real life off camera they're flawed human beings just like everyone else. All in all, I think the song and mv is trying to showcase how hard it is for idols to be in relationships because of toxic fans. they're only humans who love each other but can't be together. In the end, they're even willing to sacrifice themselves (their careers) for each other and go down together. Love wins all.

Make some calls next time you go to South Korea. 😅 This is the most emotional MV, the lyrics, IUs angelic vocals and the phenomenal acting chemistry between V and IU, and of course our V is l incredibly gorgeous. V has always said his ultimate dream is to be an actor. I think this is why he had such a hard time deciding to renew his BTS contract. He seemed torn between wanting to be with Jungkook & the other members & doing one more run as BTS, and wanting to finally start his acting career in full force.
In my opinion, he is going to kill it as an actor when he gets his chances. He was already getting offers from around the world for roles, even before this video came out, but had to decline due to enlistment.
